This apartment is just fantastic, very spacious, modern, sunny and situated in a great location. Have breakfast on the great sunny balcony off the kitchen or the private roof garden. This roof garden is a great asset to this modern apartment as you can enjoy the sunshine in your own private haven. There is also a roof shower and if you prefer some shade the Cabanas offers you this when the sun gets too hot.

This space is for your own private use, great for relaxing, sunbathing or having a glass of chilled vino of an evening, or quietly doing your yoga and relaxation.

Getting around

The nearby train station Porto Nova is 5 minutes walk away. Travel to Olhea, where you will find one of the best markets in the Algarve, get a ferry across to the island of Armona, and on to the old town of Faro and the amazing Faro beach. You can easily and very cheaply get to the Spanish town of Ayamonte travelling on the opposite direction via charming town Villa Real. If you have a hired car just drive across the bridge where you will find the shopping centre of Mercadona. Many items are very reasonably priced including Spanish Olive oil, detergents, chocolate, saffron etc etc compared to the supermarkets in Portugal. You can get a coach to Seville from Tavira train station and a train to Lisbon so the apartment is well placed.

Interaction with guest

The apartment is located in the prestigious estate of Quinta da Pegada just off the N125, 10 mins walk to our favourite restaurant and the best Cafe in Tavira is also close by. I believe in being clear with guests so I provide a list of places to go during their stay but more importantly a very detailed booklet of directions, contact numbers, and useful information re the apartment itself. This information is e-mailed to you prior to your holiday and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. If anything goes wrong you have three contact numbers and e-mails. I would appreciate some feed-back and reviews from you.

No parties, this is a quiet residential area, after 11.00pm please be careful to keep noise down. We ask that you take care of our property, we have put a lot of love and care into this home.
We would love you to have a nice relaxing holiday, and have provided you with a lot of information for you to make the most of your valuable time in Tavira. (small pets, (small dogs and cats). only at our discretion allowed. We have a barbeque, but a cleaning fee may be charged.

I would recommend for a totally relaxing holiday, there are nice cafes and restaurants nearby and a nice private roof terrace. Approximately 30 minutes drive from the airport.

Had a very enjoyable holiday in this fabulously appointed apartment-highly recommended . Used the local rail station- Porta Nova- to get to Fuseta and Cabanas. The beaches at both are excellent
