Description
Keeping the rustic charm of wooden beams, mixed with all modern conveniences, the apartment is composed on two floors: an elegant, light, open-plan living and dining area (20 sqm) with digital terrestrial television and DVD, with a large comfortable double sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen (gas-stove, oven, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, fridge, freezer) and bathroom w/ shower.
In the loft: one double bedroom with small terrace and en-suite bathroom with shower made with pebbles; open space with two twin beds which can easily be fitted together for a second double bed.
Seafront is just 1 minute walk away and it takes only 5 minutes to walk to either the harbour and old bastions; a rich produce market is also only five-minutes' walk away; 10 min to the long white-sand enchanting beaches and turquoise sea water.
Parking: there is a public toll parking 2 minute walk from the apartment available.
Please note that car access (and parking) in the old town is reserved to permanent residents only.

Facilities included: bed linen, duvets, a set of 3 towels per person, beach towels, air conditioning at reasonable usage, electricity, gas, water. Hair-dryer, iron and iron board at your disposal.

- A compulsory fee of 50 EUR for the final cleaning of the apartment. The final cleaning doesn't include dish washing, which is your responsibility before
- Damage Sureties Deposit (caution money) of 100 EUR to be settled in cash locally, refundable at check-out, assuming no damage or misuse to the apartment has occurred.
The apartment has double glazed windows but being in the old town it might be more exposed to noise (or/and music) coming from nearby bars, restaurants or building sites. We cannot accept responsibility for noise (or/and music) or nuisance caused by neighbors or building sites.

“Could not be more perfect!”
We stayed here in August 2012 and had a brilliant holiday! We have three young children age 7, 5 and 3, and found Casa Maiorca to be the perfect base for exploring Alghero. Caterina's apartment is lovely, really clean and certainly big enough for the 5 of us. The location was brilliant, right on the middle of the old town, close to everything you would wish to see. There are lots of lovely restaurants nearby and the local bakery (about 10 steps from the apartment) was perfect for delicious breakfast supplies. We had such a good time we are looking at booking it again for next year.
