Full Wheel Chair Access.

The Lodge is spacious and fully equipped to four star standard with four bedrooms and is capable of sleeping up to ten people. The accommodation consists of One double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower over. One double bedroom with space for a cot. One twin bedroom with pull down child's bunk bed. One bunk bedroom with an additional single bed which has a further single pull out bed under.

One wet room with shower, suitable for wheelchair user, with shower chair, or pull down seat. One bathroom able to cater for those requiring disabled toilet facilities. Fully fitted kitchen and dining room. Kitchen has dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, electric oven and hob. There is an automatic washing machine/dryer provided. Access to veranda and entrance facing South/South East equipped with garden table and chairs.

Sitting room with colour tv and DVD player with a double bed settee and access to a further veranda facing South West with its own garden table and chairs. There are alternate TV points in various bedrooms and parking for up to four cars adjacent to the Lodge.

Getting around

We are a 20 minute walk through the parks into Minehead where there are buses to Taunton, Lynton and Bridgwater which can drop you in town or various villages on the way or even pick you up at the end a walk. There are plenty of taxis in Minehead and a dial up bus service the Moor Rover which can take you out onto Exmoor and the Quantocks for walks etc. The West Somerset Steam railway runs out of Minehead and can take you along the coast to Watchet and all the way to Bishops Lydeard some 24 miles through lovely countryside and many small villages.

Interaction with guest

We live on site and are normally there to welcome you and available if there are any issues. We can help with recommendations for walks, pubs etc but try not to bother you unless you need some help. We are anxious that you raise any problems with us so we can do our best to help, sort out any issues or find a solution as so often small problems are left and only raised at the end of peoples holidays when we could have sorted them out very quickly. It also makes sure our next guests do not experience the same issue.
