As our guest, you will enjoy a tranquil, well equipped home that is quite unique in this area because it is perched high on the edge of the Rain Forest, overlooking the treetops of the jungle canopy. Birds, Monkeys, Toucans & Wildlife are often visible and abundant.
This lovely, secluded, mountain gem offers: A/C, A Full Kitchen, Hot Tub Terrace with stunning views of Lake Arenal and the Majestic Arenal Volcano, Private Pool with Sundeck, Gas BBQ Grill, Outdoor Seating and Dining areas, Lush tropical gardens & Fabulously large windows that are filled to the brim with panoramic picture perfect vistas. Hacienda Encantada, is a private hillside estate and Future upscale B&B. Our delightful 2 bedroom guest house sleeps up to 5 people and is Spacious, Comfortable,Tastefully Decorated, Family Friendly and also within Walking Distance of the colorful rural Village of El Castillo, which has many tantalizing restaurants, small markets and adventure activities. Response from the owner Thanks so much for your kind words. I have no Idea why the trip from SJO to the house took so long.. we always do it in less than 4 hours even with a potty stop in San Ramon. Our rural road often suffers at the whim of Mother Nature and although we continue to improve it with sets of concrete strips, it is an uphill battle literally!. So I agree that a 4x4 vehicle is a very wise choice. That being said, the road is passable in a regular car, as well, but will be a bumpy ride. Visiting a developing nation does indeed make those of us from more advanced nations, appreciative of the many instant conveniences that we take for granted on a daily basis. Small outages do happen from time to time, but they serve to give us perspective and a chance to reconnect with Nature and Family. Pura Vida!
