Eden Estate - END OF SEASON DISCOUNT!!

Manuel Antonio villa

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 7

“Absolutely Beautiful!” The pictures truly do not do this place any justice. What a beautiful home and what an amazing view! You feel as if you are completely segregated from the world but still so close to everything. You will need a 4x4 vehicle to make it to the house but it is absolutely worth it! The house is primarily made of glass so you can see the view from anywhere in the house. My fiancé hates being woken up by light and usually needs the darkest of curtains to not be in a bad mood but even he was happy to wake up to that view. Luis, the house caretaker was very helpful, we had some issues arriving on time and even then he was so nice and understanding. This place is paradise, I highly recommend staying here. Trust me, you will not regret it!

“Absolutely amazing!” There was nothing we didn't love about this vacation! The condo was spacious, clean and had all the creature comforts of home. Wifi is always a huge plus when traveling out of the states and makes things so much easier for us to keep up with. The view is absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed massages on the patio not once but twice as it was so beautiful and the massage was so fantastic that we couldn't help ourselves! It is conveniently located and we easily traveled around to different beaches. We saw monkey's everyday on the way in to the complex, such a neat experience. The beach club is conveniently located right next to Father Roosters which quickly became our favorite hang out spot (Try a mint margarita! it's a must!) I would recommend this vacation rental for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the view or head out for adventures and come home to a safe, secure and clean place.

Casa Montezuma - Steps to the Beach, Private, Safe

Montezuma house

3 bedrooms / 5 bathrooms / sleeps 6

“The best of Costa Rica and awesome People(rhyme, sort of)” All amenities listed are true so I won't be redundant there. We were lucky enough to stay at CasaMontezuma for a month and there was not a moment of regret with our decision at any time. The house itself is amazing, a beautiful structure indeed. With 5 people there it never seemed crowded and after staying at another house last year and visiting other's homes I can say that this place is unique and a good value. The outdoor areas are big and really comfortable, and with the incredible weather we spent most time lounging there. The location of the house is pretty ideal. Literally about a 3 minute walk to the breath taking and secluded beach where you can feel like you own the place many times of day. You also get to be equal distance from both Montezuma and Cabuya, two really cool and different types of villages. An easy walk, bike(bikes included) ride or bus trip to either. There is a hill behind the house with superb views of the cost and a pretty close by neighbor is a fisherman who sells the freshest seafood nearly daily from his yard. The owners Donna and Tito are who you want to rent from, really. They are endlessly informative and helpful, and friendly and entertaining as well. From day one all the way to the end they were great. Many times Donna offered rides on her way to town and assisted with planning and arranging day trips we took which would have otherwise been less successful. Tito has a vast knowledge of all things Costa Rican and his well of insights will have you feeling like a local. Casamontezuma really is a winner, cause you feel like you are at home, less like in a rental. But not just an ordinary home but a castle, cause it is cleaned for you every week!! Book with confidence and have the most relaxing time of your life. P.s. If the listed reasons don't sell you also know there are two resident dogs with personality to spare and a very charming pig and I can't imagine better ambassadors to Costa Rica than those three.

Villa 4 Las Brisas-Award Winner!

Playa Hermosa villa

3 bedrooms / 3 bathrooms / sleeps 8

“Paradise...check” My family found paradise ...Playa Hermosa. A very quaint town not overly run with tourist attractions. This condo was amazing. It was clean and comfortable with many fantastic amenities. We grilled out during a big football game here in the states. We swam laps and splashed around in the clean and quiet pool just feet from the condo. We were able to capture beautiful sunsets from the second floor balcony. The property staff also gave us limes and bananas picked on site that morning. A few step from the condo gets you to the ocean where the waves are crashing and the monkeys are playing over head. The on-site managers were friendly, kind, and very helpful suggesting things to do and see. The area was very safe. We all agreed we will return!

“Will Definitely Come Back” The city of San Jose is such a large area, location just cannot be stressed enough. The location of this condo is perfect. It's in a quite location, so you can relax and enjoy your time at the condo. But it's also close enough to walk to the nearby mall and shopping area so you can get food and other things without having to pay the expense of a taxi. (In Costa Rica taxi's are very expensive.) It's also close to the airport which is very convenient. Being only ten minutes away from the airport is always a plus. Then there's the condo itself. The setup is so nice that you really lack nothing. There's a kitchen you can use if you don't want to go out for food. You can do your laundry right in the condo. There is phone that you can use to call the States for free, WiFi internet, cable TV and a Blu-Ray player. The condo was very clean the beds were very comfortable. Can't wait to stay here again!

LUXURIOUS Living: Stunning Ocean Views, Pool, Penthouse HotTub, Private Chef Inc

Manuel Antonio villa

6 bedrooms / 7 bathrooms / sleeps 30

“Debra's 50th Birthday” By far one of the best vacations ever. Casa Espanola is a fabulous, upscale villa that is spacious, modern and clean. I traveled with a group of 20 people and everyone was in awe. I probably will never go to a hotel again after the Casa Espanola experience. The dining area was big enough for everyone, thus producing a total family vibe at mealtime. The rooms are big and the beds are huge. Chef Glenda and her daughter were the absolute best and the menu selections are just too many to name. The ride from SJO airport was 2 1/2 hrs but no one seemed to mind the long ride because it gave you an opportunity to sightsee. We also took the local bus in Manuel Antonio for about .67 cents....what a deal. I can't say enough about this fabulous place. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to Amy, Hazel and the staff at Casa Espanola.

“Great Costa Rica getaway!” Costa Rica is such a beautiful country and we were able to enjoy it at this great condo! It was very affordable and had everything we needed. There is a pool right outside the door (which was never crowded) and we had a view of a beautiful waterfall. The other condo owners/tenants were wonderful as well! Property Management was great and helped us out with logistics, day trips and car rental details!

“Exhilarating” The property manager, Alex, met us at the airport and took us to the home, carried our luggage in and made sure we were comfortable. The house is beautiful, with a spacious deck and dipping pool, surrounded by the natural beauty (sights and sounds) of the jungle. We felt very safe because of the 24-hour security guard at the gate. The "wildlife", however, gave us a few starts! Once we got used to the Jurassic Park sized insects and bullfrogs, we settled in and were very happy. We were close to Dominical beach and not too far from Manuel antonio Park to visit daily. We loved the zipline experience the best. This is a great place to stay if you want to be secluded from the entire world, and yet close enough to go visit places. I would recommend it for those who love nature, or just want to be away from it all!

“Villa Paraiso lives up to its name!!” This was by far the best vacation I've ever been on and it was all thanks to the unbelievable Villa and amazing service. The Villa itself exceeded my wildest expectations! Exquisite infinity pool with a gorgeous ocean view, a kitchen that belonged in a magazine, and a state of the art movie theatre! Just outside of town it was the perfect distance from civilization for a nice secluded getaway. The surfing is a must - there's a shop that rents boards for $10/day only 5 minutes away. We even went deep sea fishing and caught a nice dinner! The nearby Playa Hermosa and Bellina are must sees and a great fresh sushi at a restaurant around the corner. Other than that anything and everything is readily available from the helpful staff who does their best to show off Costa Rica. Definitely a 5 star vacation! Can't wait to go back!

About Costa Rica

Costa Rica calls to mind cloud forests, toucans, white sand beaches, and palm trees. Many visitors receive their first impressions of this ecotourism destination point from the colorful wildlife and mangrove trees of Manuel Antonio National Park. Whether you spend your vacation hiking through the cloud forest, exploring volcanoes, or surfing on Costa Rica's perfect blue waves, you'll never forget your visit to this protected paradise. The wildlife spotting alone will challenge your imagination. Just a few of the cast of characters you may encounter here include humpback whales, Baird's tapirs, howler monkeys, jaguars, leatherback sea turtles, and brilliantly colored macaws. While you are here, sample the delicious sweet churros of San Jose, relax on the beach, or go rafting, rappelling, and zip-lining through the rainforest canopy. Whether you stay in a cabin rental near Montezuma or a luxury beachfront villa near the Playa Jaco, you'll never run out of breathtaking experiences in Costa Rica.

Here are a few additional suggestions of things to do in Costa Rica:

  • Mountain biking: The variety of off-road paths and cattle trails around Costa Rica makes this an ideal spot for mountain biking.
  • Surfing: If you're serious about surfing, you may want to find a vacation rental close to Tamarindo Beach, famous for great surfing.
  • La Paz Waterfall Garden: Just a short trip from San Jose, the Waterfall Garden is not to be missed.
  • Sloth Sanctuary: Meet rescued sloths and learn about these extraordinary animals while observing them in their natural habitat.
  • Tour a coffee plantation: Find out more about this miracle bean from the coffee growers who understand it best.

No matter what time of you year you visit, the weather in Costa Rica is beautiful. Luckily, vacation rentals are widely available through the year in Costa Rica. Don't forget to bring your camera and your sense of adventure.

Exquisitely decorated 5th-floor aerie with views of two bays in Flamingo
3 days at Playa Flamingo in Oceana condo

Beautiful condo with balcony overlooking beach and perfect sunsets. Several fine restaurants in area if including Potrera just a mile north. We enjoyed Coco Loco on Flamingo beach and Forketta in Portrera most of all. Condo very clean with one minor problem with leaky refrigerator water filter quickly addressed. The master bath had a design flaw with bathtub shower combo in allowing water to collect around rear of tub where tile adjoins...had to sponge area after each shower...not a big deal but unexpected in such a beautiful condo. The multiple AC units worked flawlessly and pool was perfect for lap swimming and usually unused. Beach here is safe and gradual with gentle surf....perfect. We would definitely return in future.see more
Playa Grande Casitas
Awesome place, awesome location, awesome host!

Other than the road leading into this place - Manfred's property was absolutely awesome. For those looking to reach a variety of world-class beaches in a short period of time, Playa Grande is one of the best "home" locations. We were able to get to Tamarindo Beach, Conchal Beach (favorite) and Playa Flamingo in 25 to 35 minutes each and of course walking distance to Playa Grande Beach. Also accomplished day trips to the Samara and Nicoya and Santa Cruz. The Casitas was clean and comfortable, a market was down the street for needed essentials (although a full-blown supermarket was also close to stock for the week) and there were several options for breakfast, lunches and dinners. We spent most of our mornings prior to heading out to explore on the outdoor terrace having breakfast or just catching up via the wifi, which was faster than any I've experience before in Costa Rica. Manfred - if we come back to Costa Rica, we'll be reaching out!see more

Thus home is perfect for folks who want to be in the middle of bird, butterfly and mammal watching, while enjoying comfort and privacy. Casa de Valencia - Tamarindo Luxury Villa - Steps from the Beach
Perfect

We (4 of us) stayed here in early February for a week and definitely would have like to stay longer. Casa de Valencia is perfect. House is beautiful but very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Was close to beach even though we went to the far end every day for surfing. Having a beautiful pool available in the gorgeous gardens in a small gated community was a great way to spend the hottest part of the day. Proximity to restaurants and groceries was great...eventhough we rented a vehicle we only used it for out of town excursions. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would like to return. Pura vida!see more

Wonderful Beach Vacation

My sisters and I met up for a birthday trip for all of us February birthday girls. We had a marvelous time basking in the sun and frolicking on the nearly secluded beach. The house itself was terrific. However, there is only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms and it’s gets terribly hot inside in the afternoon. Be prepared for that. Other than that, it was a perfect trip. And all of the local people were simply delightful...very friendly and happy to help you in any way. Also, Shaar, who owns the casa was super responsive. She wasn’t even in the country, but was quick to address the one issue we had.see more
