1-please be aware that you are renting a villa, not a hotel. House will be handed over fully functional, its continued functionality rests in your hands.
2-During the dry season (Dec - April), irrigation every other day of the garden via the installed irrigation system is required.
3-Costa Rica is bug country ! Pls. use repellent and close sliding doors
4- Use of equipment and pool at own risk. Manuals available in house
5- move in: between 4 and 10 p.m. check out: before 10 a.m.

Response from the owner Flipkey/Tripadvisor terminology explicitly rates 1/2 bathrooms as full bathrooms. 1 bedroom is multifunctional and can either be used as office or as bedroom or both - according to requirements. Ceiling fans on a 17 feet high ceiling are technically impossible and would estetically be an insult. The house, however, has a screened variable loofer system in all rooms - so ventilation comes natural. The radio can easily be used for local stations once the antenna is plugged in and the radio button is pressed. A respective manual is available. Owner

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Rudolf (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
