“Paradise called Villa Sagitta”
We loved the garden paradise called Villa Sagitta – thank you so much Robert and his wonderful team for helping make our stay so special. The architecture, art works and magnificent views of the gorge are really a special experience – we’ll remember this place with great affection. PS: Thank you also to Ketut (the driver) for his wonderful insights into Balinese culture.
“A beautiful location with wonderful outlook and wonderful staff”
Staff are knowledgable and very helpful but are respectful of your privacy. The area is rural and relaxing....away from it all. The villa is spacious, very clean and well maintained and has stunning views from all bedrooms. Not for very young children.
Thank you so much to the Villa Sagitta staff for your care and hospitality over the last five nights. We all enjoyed our time and it has made us love Bali. The food was so good every time and we really appreciate your efforts! It is a beautiful place and you all put in so much effort, it really pays off – The Perth / Sydney crew
“Truly the island of the gods - an oasis”
It’s so rare when the promise of paradise matches the reality. This was a true oasis. Thank you for making our time here so special. We were very sad to leave, but will have the memories with us when we are next stuck in traffic. See you all next time!
We spent five nights in this wonderful villa. The villa itself is spectacular and very tastefully decorated. We especially love the Joglo Suite which felt like a treehouse. The staff was lovely and very friendly. Wayan and Dewa were wonderful cooks, we loved all our breakfasts and enjoyed lots of Indonesian specialties like babi guling, Indonesian salad and fried chicken. Pica was great in maintaining the grounds. Robert was very helpful in keeping everything smooth and getting our birthday cake for our 2-year old. This place is very special to us and we can’t wait to come back again. This was definitely one of our favourite vacations!
“Tranquil setting in the mountains”
Luxury villa with fabulous views. Away from the hustle and bustle in a rural setting. Friendly staff attending to your every need. The driver Ketut knows all the sights, shops and restaurants and safely drives you through the treacherous traffic. Delicious local fare served at the villa when you don't feel like going out.
“Villa Sagitta - A haven of tanquility”
Villa Sagitta is the ideal place to enjoy the historical and cultural center of Bali. Located 20 minutes from Ubud, through the rice fields and beautiful landscapes, this villa is situated in a lush gorge, without anything opposite it: a haven of peace and tranquility. You can also enjoy the traditional Joglo house which is more than 200 years old, with stunning views. The staff is great, especially the chef Wayan from whom you will discover traditional Indonesian dishes: nasi goreng, Babi Guling and others. So friends, Villa Sagitta is really excellent and contacts with Mailie, the owner, are simple and cordial. If you would like further information, please write to me on email@example.com. Selamat Datang
We had the most wonderful stay here in Villa Sagitta! Everyone left happy and can’t wait to come back. The staff was excellent and made us feel welcome, and accommodated all our requests. We look forward to coming back and telling all our friends about this heavenly place.
“The warm and gracious staff makes this beautiful place even better!”
Our family had a much-needed peaceful holiday at the Villa Sagitta – together after a long time, we loved the quiet surroundings and the carefully designed interiors. The staff were brilliant – always helpful and warm. Their being around truly made our time here comfortable, and made the villa feel less like a holiday destination and more like home. Whether they were cooking us delicious breakfasts or dinners, or helping us keep geckos at bay, they were always ready to help with a smile. We also fell in love with the cat, Ooching. We will definitely keep Villa Sagitta in mind for our future holidays and will recommend it enthusiastically to friends. In addition to all this, the owner, Mailie, was a delight to work with. She was very accommodating when our plans unexpectedly changed. I would absolutely have no hesitation in working with her again, and I do hope that our travels will bring us to this beautiful house again. Thanks so much for everything!
“A tranquil escape and ancient energy”
The villa is set near the top of a massive valley, on the edge of a heritage park. So peaceful and beautiful, with a walkway down to the old part of the village temple. You can feel the ancient energy in this sacred place. You will hear and see beautiful birds in the valley from the deck, pool and shower... and probably cross paths with a lot of the locals or kids who will be going to and from the temple spring to fill their water bottles. The villa itself is very private and spacious. With plenty of different living and relaxation space for the family and kids. It is on a steep site but we had no trouble with our 2 year old. It's a fair mission to get here, but worth it to be up in the highlands for fresh air and quiet. Not so far to go back into Ubud for dinner or shopping trips. I started to skips these in favour of hanging by the pool! We had excellent breakfasts from the crew and lots of help wrangling our toddler! Recommend:- * Use their driver Ketut for trips to Ubud and around. He is local and knows where and what everything is, also super helpful with children and luggage ! * Dinner at Casa Luna/Indus, good desert! * Walk down to the village temple and up to the new temple and around the rice paddies – can be 20 minutes or 1 hour, ask! Wayan to guide you, he was a good protector from dogs and ducks! Visit the Pejeng Moon temple, ask the staff about this. It is a treasure of Bali.
