Hire a car and explore the unspoiled Turkish coastline with beautiful scenic sandy beaches perfect for young children, the stunning Gocek marina, bustling local towns of Dalaman, Fethiye and Dalyan and be sure to sample the excellent Turkish cuisine.

The apartment offers excellent views of the pool, Akkaya lake and mountains. Set in beautiful communal gardens The first floor apartment has 2 balconies offering seated outdoor dining for upto 4-6 people on 1 terrace and 2 chairs on the other terrace. There is a large outdoor swimming pool which is communal and has a separate children's pool. Sun loungers are provided by the pool side. There is also a sauna and gym all within 100 yards of the apartment.

“Wonderful apartment in a beautiful setting and location”

I went with my husband and 2 teenage sons. The apartment was really lovely, it was clean, spacious, comfortable beds and furnishing, with air conditioning throughout. It was in a very attractive complex of apartments and villas, extremely well maintained and cared for and excellent value for money. It had a super, large balcony with stunning views. It was peaceful and had a lovely welcoming outdoor pool, clean, unheated (perfect for the summer days), well maintained which kept us all entertained for hours. Most days we actually had the pool to ourselves! There were ample sunbeds and brollies by the poolside for relaxing. There was also a gym. The apartment was located in a quiet, green, picturesque valley surrounded by mountains, lovely open night skies and a distant lake to view. Within walking distance through a wooded pathway was a very impressive restaurant which had seating in the tree tops and tasty, very reasonably priced food! We hired a car for getting out and about, visiting surrounding areas of interest. I liked the fact it wasn't touristy. It felt a good spot to enjoy peace and beauty, but with a hire car it was also a great spot for visiting some of the more touristy spots and also the lesser touristy spots. We found plenty to do and used the Lonely planet guide found in a drawer of the apartment for inspiration. The owners had also emailed us some great written information on potential places to visit, which we used and found very useful. The owners sent great directions, information and advise on who to contact if we needed anything. I felt very safe and within easy reach of help, should the need arise, on the complex. It really was a superb family holiday, my first abroad for 19 years, we could not have asked for anything better.
