Charmante maison en pierre de Tuffeau, idéale pour une famille de 4 à 5 personnes, ou pour 2 couples, dans une ancienne bergerie restaurée, afin de passer un séjour de détente ou touristique parmi les châteaux de la Loire.
Possibilité de location au week-end et à la nuitée en semaine hors vacances scolaires.
Pour vos visites:
Nous nous situons à 8min de Loches, 20 min de Chenonceau, 30 min d'Amboise, 35 min d'Azay le rideau, 50 min de Chinon, 40 min de Tours,...et de nombreux autres châteaux et caves pour les amateurs à découvrir…
Pour vos loisirs:
Grand terrain totalement indépendant et sans vis à vis devant le gîte avec portique ;
dans le village (à 500m) aire de jeu avec panier de basket, grand terrain de foot et petite rampe pour skate ou roller ;
dans le village voisin (à 3 km),grande aire de jeu avec terrain de basket, structure de jeu, terrain de tennis ;
A 5 km, centre équestre,
A Loches (à 8 km) piscine naturelle et toboggan (Naturéo) et centre de bien être (Les Bains Douches) avec hammam, sauna, piscine thalasso ;
Nous sommes également à 45 min du Futuroscope de Poitiers, 45min du zoo de Beauval et de nombreuses autres activités à proximité (karting, golf...)

En rez-de-chaussée :
-cuisine ouverte sur salon avec: plaque vitrocéramique 4 feux, micro ondes combiné grill, frigo ,lave vaisselle, lave linge, ustensiles et batterie de cuisine, vaisselle, cafetière, grille pain, bouilloire, petit kit de démarrage (sac poubelle, liquide vaisselle, sel, poivre, sucre, thé, café).
-coin repas constitué d'une grande table pouvant accueillir 5 couverts, vue sur la campagne et magnifique cheminée en pierre de tuffeau avec poêle (décoratif uniquement)
-coin salon avec: TV (chaînes tnt par satellite), lecteur cd et dvd, canapé , 2 fauteuils , tables basses, cd, livres, magazines à votre disposition.
-chambre avec 2 superbes lits simples à baldaquin, un bureau, un tabouret un fauteuil , un meuble de rangement à casiers avec portant,
vue sur la campagne par la petite porte fenêtre.
-Salle de douche (receveur de douche 90x90)avec wc.

“Beautiful, quiet gite in a convenient location - the perfect get-away”
My husband and I have just returned from a very relaxing holiday staying in La Bergerie. It is in an ideal place for exploring the Loire Valley, just south of Tours and a few miles West of Loches, you can visit the numerous Chateaux in either direction along the Loire, and we certainly did! The gite is some distance from the nearest shops, so you definitely need a car (or be an enthusiastic cyclist!) and it faces out over fields and a forest, so you aren't overlooked at all. Having said that, it is still close enough to a main road to be able to get places quickly and easily without having to trek for miles. The facilities are excellent, with a lovely kitchen/living/diner - we cooked nearly every night and there is plenty of equipment, including a BBQ! Plenty of hot water (a shower, no bath) and very comfortable beds. The gite has been beautifully decorated in a quirky style and very much looked after. Most of our evenings, we would sit outside and saw deer, hares, bats, frogs and even two Hoopoe (we had to google them!) as well as the owner's cat Hercule who would come and say hello. Stephanie the owner is extremely welcoming, and gave us lots of information about the local area. Her home is behind the gite, so very useful if you have any issues (not that we had any) but at enough of a distance that you don't feel like you are staying in her garden. Loches is a nice little town with all the shops, post office etc you might need. We visted the chateaux of Loches, Chenonceau, Chambord, Chinon, Amboise, Clos Luce, Chaumont and Montresor (I'm sure I've forgotten one!) and even stopped at Versailles on our way home to Reading. One of the highlights was the ZooParc de Beauval. It was a lovely zoo, with every animal you can imagine (and a baby panda while we were there). If you go, make sure you catch the bird display - It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Overall, we had a delightful holiday, and would highly recommend this property to anyone.

“Great Gite & lovely host”
We stayed in Stephanie's Gite in the Loire Valley for 3 nights. It was delightful! It was rustic & charming from the outside but provided all the modcons inside and was very cosy as we stayed in the autumn. Stephanie was lovely & very helpful, and the location was a great base for exploring all of the nearby chateaus. We were very central to all of the most impressive & highly recommend Chateau Villandry. Loches which is about a 10 minute drive away is worth a look & has some nice restaurants. All information on the local area is provided in the Gite.

“Fantastic stay, fantastic host.”
My husband and I stayed at la Bergerie for our honeymoon. We were greeted by Stephanie who was so warm and welcoming and full of advice for our stay. The house was beautiful, decorated in a modern style but in keeping with its French country style. We could not have wished for a more peaceful rural escape to visit the Loire Valley. Thank you Stephanie. We will be back xxxxx
