You'll be amongst lots of activity, police and well lit streets. Walk everywhere. You're right by the Artisans Market and a great Spanish school is just 2 blocks away. Be sure to vistit Fabrica Aurora with art galleries and restaurants. Speaking of restaurants, there are several small ones right on your street. Professionally managed. Someone is available 24 hours. Weekly maid service.

Response from the owner I am so sorry this was such a dissatisfied guest but it comes as no surprise. She was a rather discontented person. We have never received these kinds of complaints about this studio and I will address them. 1. Homes in San Miguel do not have central heat. The fireplace works very well to warn up the space. She could have used it more to heat up the place if she was cold. A rather simple remedy. 2. It is not a dark place. There are windows on both sides of the studio that bring in light. In 7 years we have never had a complaint about this studio being dark….until now. 3.The drapes fabric was chosen to provide privacy but bring in some light. 4. I am sorry about the pillows. Based how she goes on and on in her description about Mervyns, 2o years old, etc. that this might have been a bit over stated. I have instructed my housekeeper to immediately replace them. I wish she had simply asked our housekeeper for new pillows. 5. We rarely get a request for the cell phone so unfortunately my manager did not know how to respond to this. I have talked to her about this. 6. It is not true that most rentals have fireplaces, and especially in the downtown area where they charge quite a bit more if they do. They might be cheaper if you go outside of downtown to one of the neighborhoods. We offer a tremendous value for the price. It is certainly our aim to keep everything in good condition. 7. I have instructed my housekeeper to replace the bedspread. As I understand, her only complaint was that it had been washed too much and not that it was dirty or in poor repair. 8. There's not much I can do to change the stairs access to the roof terrace. 9. I have never had the office unable to give the safe numbers in any of our rentals. For obvious reasons we do not publish them anywhere. We tell people to call the office. The office is used to this request. It is very challenging to rent to unhappy people. It is impossible to please them. I feel it is unfair to post a review like this when several things could have been resolved by a simple phone call to the office. We repeatedly instruct the people to let the office know if they need something. The feedback I get from guests is how impressed they are with how responsive the office is. However, I do feel that some of her complaints were justified and I have taken action to correct them. I appreciate the notification.

The apartment is quite near to the central square with a rooftop terrace. The market, drugstore, local cafe, and torteria are very close by.
