Description
CHEZ PAULINE is just 1 of our 7 fully self catering Gites here at "Mas Saint Antoine", this 17thC renovated farmhouse & converted outbuildings that make up the 7 gites is set in 2/3rds of an acre amidst open fields & orchards. Being on the main road between Avignon and St-Remy we are ideally situated for exploring all the best that Provence has to offer with no greater drive than 60mins to see it all. Our grounds have been fully landscaped into various garden themes and include a 12 x 6m swimming pool, summer house, a pond with waterfall, 300 year old olive trees and several secluded seating areas dotted around the grounds.
“Chez Pauline” is the rebuilt & renovated stables. A delightful 1 bedroom attached end cottage. Entry is direct from the parking area into the separate lounge which receives mid morning sun & comprises a futon couch which can fold out into a bed for a child only. A corner TV unit complete with TV, std French channels & UK free to view channels. A door leads into the fully fitted & equipped galley style kitchen complete with dishwasher, gas stove/hob combination, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster etc. The round table is large enough to seat 4 comfortably. A pair of french windows opens out onto the 'wisteria' shaded outdoor dining area and can be used as a servery. A door from the kitchen/dining room leads to the back bedroom & ensuite, the queen size (150x190) bed backs onto the glass block walled ensuite with shower & WHB. A small separate room contains the electric toilet. There is a free standing wardrobe unit complete with internal shelves & a small writing desk.
An air conditioning unit in the bedroom provides air flow throughout & into the kitchen & dining room.
A pair of French doors, off the bedroom leads to a small shaded paved patio with wrought iron furniture & the separate 'wisteria' shaded outdoor dining suite. Next to the patio area is your own gas BBQ. To top it off, the kitchen/dining room & bedroom receives late afternoon sun & is a wonderful place to watch the setting sun, a spectacular end to a Provencal summers day.
All linens and bathroom towels are supplied free of charge. Free access to separate pool towels is also available. Laundry facilities including free detergent, is shared with the other guests on a rotational basis.

At 500m from the village of Rognonas with all its services, you are an easy 10min walk from 4 bakeries, a supermarket, 2 traiteur, 1 boucherie, 2 bars and 2 restaurants and several Pizza takeaways. Rognonas also offers a Post Office, 2 banks with cash machines a Pharmacy & even an intimate Wine Tasting Experience. The thriving heart of Provence, Avignon is a 10-minute drive with simple access to several parking buildings. The Avignon TGV Train Station is approx 10mins away.
As well as standard self-catered "Gite" accommodation, we offer a range of services to make Mas Saint-Antoine "more than just a Gite", ranging from local information services, day tripping suggestions to relaxing poolside Pizza evenings.

Smoking is allowed outside on your own terrace or balcony.
NO parties, gatherings, loud noises, music or loud talking outside after 11.00pm.
Well behaved dogs are welcome, (daily fee applicable) MUST not bark, MUST be on a leash while on the property & MUST not be left alone inside the gites. There are free range chickens on the property.

“Wonderful gite”
