Green Gecko is a traditionally styled Thai villa, with temple like roofs, nestled in the heart of the countryside in Thailand's northeast.

The villa has a stunning private infinity swimming pool, extensive wood decking, two air-conditioned bedrooms each with a teak 4 poster bed and en-suite bathrooms, a dining room, living room, fully equipped kitchen, sala, gardens and parking.

Rates include free aiport transfers and complimentary Thai meals prepared freshly for you, daily.

A car and driver, maid and chef are also available.

Green Gecko is the perfect solution for those wishing to avoid the tourist traps of Thailand, to get off the beaten path and discover and experience the heart of the country.

We will be happy to drive you to sights in the immediate vicinity, or to arrange car hire or more for trips further afield.

We live a few kms from the villa. We will meet you at the airport to transfer you to the villa. We will be available as needed during your stay to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner, to show you the local area and make trip suggestions, to do your laundry and help out as required.

Now that you can count from one to ten in Thai, we are confident we will gt you to hundred and beyond as and when you return. "Bpaaet" is the phonetic pronunciation of eight in Thai (which may not help much!), so think of the noise a lost sheep makes (sounding like "bear"),and simply add a "t" at the end. We don't recommend you try it in public in the UK though! Again, many thanks, and best wishes from us all.

You are absolutely correct on the TLC point! For info, immediately after the New Year season, we put a team of 9 workers in the villa to carry out renovations. It was entirely sanded and repainted, the doors perfected, the deck floorboards were changed where needed, the concrete beams repainted, and the seat around the tree on the wooden deck entirely rebuilt... Unfortunately this took place just a few weeks after your stay, but should you visit again we are confident you would appreciate the changes. Once again, a big thank you for your very positive review - and we hope the remainder of your holiday was equally enjoyable! With our sincerest best wishes to you all, Ten

How do damage deposits work?
