A lovely light and airy single storey property with green credentials anddog friendly converted from a stone outbuilding. Situated in its own grounds adjacent to a a paddock presently being restored to a wild flower meadow, it has stunning views to the surrounding countryside. Heated by a carbon neutral Biomass boiler and electricity supplied by solar panels it is very eco friendly. There is also an electric charger for use by guests. The open plan fully fitted kitchen/iiving room has stripped wooden floors, scatter carpets and a wood-burning stove. There are patio doors leading out to a small terrace where you can sit and relax and almost pat your neighbours some very inquisitive cows. There is a book and DVD library, free wifi, off road parking and storage available for bikes and canoes etc.

The area is perfect for exploring the beautiful Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Brecon Beacons National park and has a huge choice of historic sites and activities. Chepstow is 5 minutes down the road with its magnificent Castle and Racecourse host to the Welsh Grand National and Cardiff, Bristol, Gloucester and Hereford are all less than 45 minutes by car. 3 local pubs serving foods.

Dolly's is situated not to far from my own property but not near enough to interfere with your privacy. If try to be here on your arrival to hand over the key and answer any questions but if for any reason I'm not here I will instructions on what to do and catch up later. I am passionate about the Wye Valley and only too happy to give suggestions.

How do damage deposits work?

If Helen (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
