“Delightful cottage with glorious views- a break away from it all”
Warm welcome by owner. Well furnished Very clean. Lovely views. Away from everyone - ideal if you want a true slice of peace. Nearest pub is about a mile and shops further. Great supplies of books games etc if you dont get the weather.#Happy to recommend to anyone Sat nav will get you in general direction only - need to phone from phone box at top of village as mob signals poor. Phone box at top of village does not work
“Relaxing and serene”
Clare's cottage is very roomy and charming. Very comfortable for the two of us and our two dogs. A lovely large garden with a patio overlooking the valley . The views are stunning from all rooms and garden. Good local walks for the dogs. A washing machine would be beneficial and less crockery would leave more room for own food. Helen is a delightful friendly welcoming lady and we will definitely be making a return visit. Definitely recommend . Sue Sims
“Fantastic cottage, great little bolt-hole, excellent walking cou”
Cottage is superbly equipped with all you need for cosy dinners in. Great location for a whole range of walks. Very comfortable, comes highly recommended.
Having recently stayed at for 4 nights, just had to leave a review. As usual we had a very warm welcome from Helen, thank you!! Dolly's barn is fantastic it's like home from home, there is everything you would need for a fantastic holiday in South Wales! The location is perfect for some great walks right from the door, also is close enough to all the local amenities. We had a fantastic few days and would seriously recommend it to all, really looking forward to going back in January!!!
“Absolutely stunning barn with amazing views!”
I hired Dolly's Barn for a long weekend for my finances birthday and I'm very glad I chose this one. The barn is immaculate. Decor is very modern and homely. The view from the patio and bedroom window is amazing. You couldn't get more in the countryside if you tried. The host Helen was very kind and friendly. I would happily recommend this barn to anyone after a peaceful weekend away. Will definitely be back!
“Felt like home”
If you are looking for a retreat from the hussle and bussle of every day life then Dolly's Barn is the place to stay. Warm, cosy and full of character. Stunning views and beautiful scenery. The owner Helen was very welcoming and made me feel at home. There were so many great walks nearby for me and my dogs. After being out and about during the day, curling up in front of the wood burning stove of an evening was such a treat. I had such an amazing week that I have already booked again for next year!!! I would highly recommend Dolly's Barn to other people.
“well equipped and comfortable accomodation in a peaceful locatio”
A very easy booking process was quickly followed up by a friendly email from the owner with all the information we needed. A warm welcome on arrival and the cottage did not disappoint. It was clean, modern and spacious, with wonderful views of the countryside around. Definitely one to return to again and again.
“A great little place to escape to.”
We enjoyed our stay at dollys barn ,in a lovely location .The barn was very well equiped and very comfortable.Easy access to lots of interesting places. Thanks Helen.
“Peace and quiet,homely and cosy.”
Our host Helen was very friendly, helpful and on hand to advise us on where to go,and what to see in the immediate area. Dolly's Barn was smart, modern and very well equipped, but at the same time cosy and lovely to come back to after an afternoon exploring the beautiful countryside, quaint villages and bustling towns all around us.All this is on our doorstep as we only live an hour away, but we take it all too much for granted. Most of all we enjoyed the peace and quiet, and the opportunity to simply relax. From our Jack Russell,Jay's point of view,he was fascinated with the herd of cows who regularly visited us! He had never seen one so close up before! The only drawback was the fact that the pubs in the immediate area closed too early in the afternoon!
