Description
Villa Sofia is a magnificent private and secure, two-bedroom residence situated in a quiet laneway off Jalan Penestanan Kelod.
It is a 2 story villa. The ground floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room, terrace and bedroom with ensuite bathroom. This is mirrored on the second floor and so this property is perfect for 2 couples or a family. It is close to rice field walks yet only twenty minutes walk or a few minutes by taxi to the centre of Ubud.
Now with free, fast, fiber-optic WiFi.
Once you enter the front door, you are in your own tropical paradise, free to relax and enjoy the privacy of the gardens, pool and other facilities.
The villa is a short walk to many local cafes; just around the corner from a yoga studio, meditation centre and a
wonderful spa (Eve SPA - Penestanan) and is only 50 meters from the parking area. There are transport and tour facilities close by.

“Your own little paradise..”
The villa was so private and quiet.....swim anytime with out other people around...minutes from lovely restaurants a lovely relaxing time....and breakfast made each morning!!!

Response from the manager I had a pre-departure meeting with Sharon, where she detailed all the above and more. Some of her complaints were justified, but many certainly were not. This property was built about 20 years ago and has been totally refurbished. Most guests appreciate the design as it suits people who like 2 kitchens, 2 living area and 2 dining areas. Our website accurately describes this villa and there are ample photos for prospective clients to view and get a real idea. We pride ourselves on service at Private Ubud Villas and have hundreds of positive reviews on TripAdvisor that prove this. We are in the service industry and in the business of ensuring our clients have a great holiday. Yes we have problems at times, but they are attended to immediately, once we are informed. It is unfortunate that Sharron waited until the last day of her 21 day stay to advise that she was unhappy. Had I been notified on the first, second or third day, I could have fixed the problems and ensured that the rest of her holiday was spectacular.
