Our gites reopen on 27th March 2021 and we are now taking bookings. Many weeks are already booked especially with the carry over from 2020 so book now with our Covid guarantee, detailed in our revised terms found by following the link at the foot of our website home page. LES CERISIERS - As a couple we found it hard to find quality accommodation with a nice pool near a village, where there may be other adults to chat with over a glass of wine, at the same time not paying for rooms we did not use. So we decided to design and build it ourselves!

You can walk in less than 10 minutes to St Saturnin Les Apt, one of the few unspoilt hillside villages in the Luberon, Provence, just 7 kilometres from Apt and close to Bonnieux and Gordes. The historic towns of Avignon and Aix en Provence are under 60 minutes away by road.

Adjoining our own home and set in a former olive grove and fruit orchard, our two, one bedroom gites, each sleeping two, enjoy wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and Luberon hills. We are on hand to welcome you and offer any information you require to enhance your holiday.

The gites with their ancient Provencal roof tiles, traditional wooden windows and shutters and beamed vaulted ceilings offer all home comforts. Each gite has a comfortable living room with sofa, table and chairs and is open plan to the kitchen, which is fitted with electric oven, a gas hob, fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Naturally for breakfast we provide a coffee maker, kettle and toaster. If you really want to relax we can offer,for a small supplement, a traditional French breakfast served on your terrace with champagne.

The bedrooms have built in wardrobe, double bed with luxurious en suite shower room with wc and wash hand basin. (All linen, towels including pool towels are provided). Each gite has a flat screen TV, receiving English channels, and there is an I-pod dock and COMPLIMENTARY WiFi.

French doors open onto a private covered terrace equipped with furniture and a barbeque for outdoor dining, and access to the garden areas and swimming pool.

For your added comfort, in high summer,the gites are cooled by an under floor refresher system which also provides heating in the winter. A washing machine is provided for the use of both gites, and each also has a covered parking space.

Our home and gites are quietly tucked away, yet within a short walk of the village. Approached by a driveway lined with olive and cypress trees we have just over an acre of grounds with fruit trees, a boules court, plenty of seating areas to relax and a superb heated infinity swimming pool (10 x 5m) with spacious sun bathing area, pool house and a view of the chateau.

An end of stay clean is included, a daily or mid stay clean can be arranged at an extra cost. Breakfast and/or evening meal can also be served by arrangement, for a supplementary charge. Our arrival supper has proved particularly popular!

If David (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
