Nestled privately within our 15 acre Beachfront Compound is our Rental Home we call, The Guesthouse. This is a 4 bedroom beach-home built and designed by us to be comfortable and roomy while allowing guests to enjoy themselves on Long Island without breaking the budget ! We built the guesthouse for our many friends and family to enjoy while they visit us but, whenever it’s available, we like to offer it out for rental.

The Guesthouse is Elevated to catch the balmy trade winds and gorgeous views, and is set back a little bit from the beach. Guests absolutely love the nice large kitchen with center prep-island, and everything you need to prepare a gourmet meal or a nice family dinner is there for you !

Adjacent to the kitchen is the first of two large 14’ x 17’ screened porches containing a nice outdoor dining table ready for Six. The stainless steel propane BBQ grill is located right off the porch on the same level for easy grilling in close proximity to the kitchen.

The Guesthouse also features a nice comfortable living room area with a couple of sofas and chairs along with a nice large flat screen TV and Blu Ray Player. The living room has a full size wet bar area featuring a full size refrigerator and double sink along with cabinets full of glasses….you can load this fridge up with ice, sodas, beers and other drinks and keep the kitchen fridge available just for food !

Adjacent to the Living room is the second large screened porch…..this one has another 6 person table and chairs for your enjoyment.

The Guesthouse’s Four Air Conditioned Bedrooms each contain one queen bed, a dresser and mirror, large shelves and a clothes-hanging area. The two bathrooms feature walk in showers and plenty of hot water and water pressure!

We've got Ceiling Fans in every room and they really move the air ! Normally there is plenty of that famous Long Island Breeze blowing through all the windows, but it’s nice to have the fans there for backup. Of course, all Linens, towels and beach towels are provided.

The Whymms area, where we are located, is a mile off the main road and there are only a few other homes on our 2 ½ mile long beach, so this is a nice private and quiet setting. You can Walk the nice long beach out to Whalehead Cay…...Swim in the gin-clear waters or take the kayaks we have and snorkel around the small cays just offshore…maybe get a conch or lobster! Fish for bonefish right out front in one of the best spots on the island (shh, don't tell anybody!!!). Just 150 feet from the beach, you can walk out to the small little coral reefs that are there and look at the muti-colored coral and all the colorful fish swimming in and around the coral ......It's like having your own little salt water fish tank! The bay in front is fun to snorkel in and, even though it’s shallow, We've spotted octopus, conch, lobster, bonefish and all sorts of other stuff right off the beach in front.

Not only are we Super affordable but we are in a Great location !!!!! Our 15 acre property is located in a quiet area of the island and is centrally located between the attractions in the north and south making it a perfect place to be while visiting. We have almost 400 feet of ocean frontage on a 2 ½ mile long beach and spectacular ocean views that you will not tire of! We live here year round and we want all of our guests to get a good taste of what it's like to live on the island and to experience the island life and the island people……

Getting around

You do need a rental car to get to the stores and restaurants on Long Island. We can help you with that as we are in contact with all the rental car agencies here on the island

Interaction with guest

We live right on the property and are always available to answer any questions you may have be it best beaches to visit, restaurants, fishing or diving excursions or anything else. We'll check with you daily to see how you are doing and if you need anything but won't not crowd you at all. We tell people to make themselves at home while here and we mean it !

If GEORGE (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
