Nestled in tropical foliage, the Cottage at Palmirage is a 1 Bedroom/1 Bath Cottage with Full Kitchen, Living Room and Dining Island. A Screened-in Porch complete with hammock fronts the cottage, giving you a wonderful space to enjoy both sun/shade and breeze. This house was made for relaxation!

Looking to escape now that you can Work From Home? Contact us for long term rental options, and rental car packages. As one of the few rentals that have a Washer and Dryer, this is a great place for a long term stay.

Here at Palmirage we have tried to bring you the luxury of a private cottage, with everything needed for comfort and fun, at an affordable price. Long Island is a beautiful place and we want to share it with everyone! The full kitchen provides you with the opportunity to conveniently take care of special diet needs, and the home vegetable garden has been popular with our Vegetarian guests!! With the beach a short walk away, 2 single-man Kayaks to paddle around the nearby Cays, and bikes for exploring the neighborhood, you can do as much or as little as you like. Pack a picnic in the cooler provided, grab the beach chairs and spend the day relaxing in the clear blue waters of Wemyss Bight and enjoying the tropical air on the beach, without any crowds. Or grab a fishing pole and catch your own dinner of grouper or snapper. Paddle off in the Kayaks with some snorkel gear and see what lives out at Dilda Rock or Whale Head. Go for a bike ride and see a colonial tomb on your way to an inland Blue Hole. All you need to bring is your swimsuit and water shoes!!!

Getting around

Long Island is 80 miles long, and between 1 and 4 miles wide. A car is preferred for touring the island, visiting the local Conch Bars and Night Spots, and finding you perfect hidden beach. It is recommended that you rent a car at least for a day or 2 of your visit, so you can enjoy all that Long Island has to offer and stock up at the Grocery Store! Taxi service is available also. Arrangements can be made for fishing trips(deep-sea or fly) and island tours

We are nearby to help with anything you need - whether it's a toothbrush you forgot, directions to the nearest fun beach bar, or ideas on where to go shelling. All units are surrounded by green space areas to ensure you have your own private vacation - unless you choose to say hi!
