Description

Casa Vale Verde is a stunning 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom villa located in the popular resort of Quinta do Paraiso within easy walking distance of the village of Carvoeiro where you will find numerous shops, bars, restaurants and a beach. The resort itself also has a restaurant and pool bar or the popular Monte Carvoeiro square with is bars and restaurants is just a 5 minute walk away. Guest have use of the resort facilities including communal pools, kids club, tennis courts and mini golf. The resort also have nightly entertainment at the bar. The villa has been recently renovated to a high standard and benefits from fantastic sea views. The villa is ideal for families or groups sleeping 10/12 (a maximum of 8 adults plus children)

It has 3 double bedrooms all with ensuite, 1 twin bedroom with shower room and 1 children's bedroom with single bed, pull out bed and ensuite with junior size toilet, sink, bath and shower. Cots can be provided for babies.

The villa is on a secure and safe plot that is fully fenced and has electric gates leading to a large driveway. Beautiful gardens surround the villa with plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the stunning view across the valley and out to sea. To the side of the villa is a grassed garden area ideal for children to play with a table tennis table and basketball net. Steps lead down from the garden to the pool area where there are 8 sunloungers available for you to relax and enjoy the fabulous view. The hot tub is available for an additional £100 per week.

Response from the owner Thank you so much for your review and your valuable feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at Casa Vale Verde. We have passed on your comments to the villa manager regarding cleaning. We have ordered a new fascia for the oven so this will resolve the problem you raised here. We do have new cushions for the new sunloungers on order that unfortunately had not arrived before your stay. If you had mentioned to the management they would havd tried to help sort something for you. With regards to child safety - we do have steps and a pool so parents would certainly be expected to supervise children and never leave them unattended at the property. Response from the owner We are truly sorry you feel the Villa did not deliver and would like to respond to each point raised. You booked the villa for 8 adults and never mentioned a baby on your booking form so the highchair hadn’t been cleaned and put out for you prior to your arrival, you must have found it in the store cupboard and it hadn’t been used since the last guests in October. You arrived on Christmas Day so the maid didn’t come back in again for two days as she had two days holiday for Christmas. The hot water was checked by the maintenance man and he said it was all in working order. We do explain in the welcome pack that the hot water is limited to how much the tank can hold and if everyone showers and baths at the same time unfortunately it will take some time to refill and heat up. In the winter it’s more of an issue as more hot water is used. We are sorry about this. We were not aware the heater in the children’s room was broken and will get this fixed ASAP. The fire has a problem with a blockage in the chimney and we were told this means taking down part of the ceiling to access it and this couldn’t be done during your stay as it involves some major work that would have cause a lot to disturbance. We do provide electric heaters for each room and also the air con units in the bedrooms also act as heaters. The villa manager did bring in additional heaters as soon as requested. You declined the the option of the hot tub on the booking form and didn’t pay the additional cost so it had obviously not been heated up and prepared for your arrival!! The washing machine unfortunately did have a problem that meant it needed replacing. We were not aware of the problem before your arrival and as soon as we were made aware we asked the villa manger to buy a replacement. As it was the Christmas period it did take a few days for the new one to be delivered . We are very sorry about this but did do our upmost to sort the problem ASAP and did offer to pay for any laundry you needed doing. We were told the toilet was blocked as a results of baby wipes being put down the toilet. This maintenance man is correct that this has happened before because people put things down the toilet that they shouldn’t. We are going to make clear signs in the bathroom to advise people about this. With regards to cleaning we have taken this up with the management. The lady cleaning was not our usual lady as she was on a weeks holiday for Christmas but as soon as you complained about the floor they sent her back to re clean them. The management have said they will check the villa themselves prior to guests arrival in future. We really do apologise that you experienced these problems. On reflection we have decided not to rent the villa during the winter months in future.
