Description
Cantinho da Amália (Amália's Corner) is how we call our apartment, because its placed a few meters from the birthplace of the world famous fado singer Amália Rodrigues. Located on the 4th floor and attic of the building it has a beautiful natural light throughout the day and a magnificent view of the Castle of São Jorge. The entire building was completely renovated in 2009 and the apartment offers the modern comfort of central heating and air conditioning, but keeping the romantic atmosphere of the sloping ceilings. The comfort of the bathroom, the functionality of the kitchen and equipment (new), combined with its contemporary and tasteful decor makes this flat extremely comfortable. The apartment can accommodate a family of four, or even two couples, as the sofa bed has the size and comfort of a double bed.

“SITUATION PARFAITE”
Appartement très agréable et très bien situé avec belle vue sur le castello et miradouros da graca et celui de senhora do monte . Nous avons peu utilisé le métro à part pour aller à la fondation Gulbenkian et pour le départ vers l'aéroport et nous avons pris le train pour aller une journée à Sintra. La situation de l'appartement permet de tout visiter à pied. Petit supermarché PINGO DOCE prés de la gare à 5' à pied. A signaler quand même l'appartement se trouve au 4e sans ascenseur et escaliers un peu raides mais cela permet d'éliminer les pasteis de nata ..! Antonio le propriétaire parle très bien le français et nous le remercions à nouveau pour son accueil, sa disponibilité, ses bonnes adresses et conseils.

“Fantastic views of Lisbon from a top floor apartment.”
Walking distance to buses, metro, and downtown attractions. Our host, Antonio, was very helpful with directions and restaurant tips. Lovely place to retreat to after a long day sightseeing.
