“Couldn't have Asked for Better”
We stayed with grandparents and a 2 years old. The space was more than we would have asked for....bright, sunny, clean and huge amount of space. Francesca was so accommodating and even let our son use some of her sons toys that are stored outside the apartment. The location was fantastic and a very quick walk to food and the Cicada market. The beach was clear and beautiful and almost no one was there. There were 2 gorgeous pools...was was warm and one 'refreshing' for those who like the chillier type. Literally, we were the only ones swimming and sunbathing the whole time. We had no idea we were paying for a nearly private resort! Thank you for everything and we look forward to staying again sometime soon. PS. The beds were unbelievably comfortable...we all slept like logs.
Response from the owner Thank you so much for your lovely review . I am so happy your family enjoyed the apartment and your son had fun with all the pool toys . We look forward to welcoming you back again very soon . Best wishes .
“Peaceful part of town”
We stayed in Baan Poolom for two weeks in January and had a wonderful time. We did have the benefit of a car which allowed us to have regular lunches on nearby Khao Takiab beach and make regular trips to the Village - a stock-everything shopping centre. The apartment itself was very comfortable and well-equipped although the TV could get only BBC world service in English. The wi-fi was hopeless however. As to the complaining review , we liked the fact that the place was nearly empty - more room for us.The manager was pleasant enough and provided us with a extra key. A broken blender in the kitchen was replaced within a few hours of us mentioning it. I don't think the price is particularly cheap - much more expensive than similar property rental last year. But three bedroom properties can be hard to find. Hua Hin itself is a great place for a holiday and the brand new water park is just brilliant.
Response from the owner Dear boboxford2015, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are glad you had a wonderful time at the apartment. We noted your comment in regards to the WiFi and have installed a second router to ensure this is addressed for the future. We look forward to your return to Baan Poolom.
“Feels like home”
Our experience with baan poolom has been first rate all the way through. Sally booked us in with effortless efficiency and the building manager khun Haarn friendly and polite settled us in well. The condo is spacious, clean and comfortable and it is in an excellent spot. There are many places to eat and relax close at hand and plenty of things to do in the Hau Hin area generally so you can be busy or enjoy the peace and quiet as you desire. The beach is on your doorstep and is wide and clean. This is an excellent place for a family holiday and we are all going to be sad when we have to leave this wonderful place. Matt
Response from the owner Thank you so much for your great and positive response . Baan Poolom is a slice of paradise that we love to share with our guests . We are always improving and adding to the apartment to make everything comfortable for our guests. We look forward to welcoming you back on your next visit to Baan Poolom . With best wishes .
“beautiful and relaxing”
Ban Poolom condo was a perfect holiday. The initial presentation was spotless and we appreciated this. There were clean towels, linen and clean amenities throughout. The pool was great and never busy and we spent every morning at the beach which was a short walk. I highly recommend this condo for a couple or a larger group
“Great place, with nice facilites”
I would recommend this condo. Nice room, and nice pools and close to beach front.
“Great for Families”
This was a great property for families. The three bedrooms were roomy and two of them had ensuites. There was a kids bedroom with a set of bunk beds and a twin bed with a trundle. The balconies were great. The condo was clean and updated, with the exception of the living room couch (there was nothing wrong with it, just outdated). There was even a high chair and a pack and play. The pools in the complex were very nice. While the there is beach access from the complex, I thought the condo would have been closer to the beach. Otherwise, this was a great condo and my family and I enjoyed staying here.
“A great family get away”
Very spacious apartment comfortably accommodating adults and four children. Good restaurants close by and shopping centres in easy reach to buy food for the occasional dinner in. For the kids - the beach, two pools, water sports on the beach and Black Mountain Water Park and Wakeboard Park. Never a dull moment. Great golf courses close by as well (Black Mountain my favorite course in Thailand). A very relaxing week made better by a very helpful rental agent only a phone call away. Highly recommended!
“Good location, nice place to stay!”
On the one hand, the condo isn't exactly on the beach -- it's at the far end of the Baan Poolom complex away from the beach, but still, it's only a 3-minute walk to the gentle waves. The apartment itself was clean, furnished well, and pleasant to stay at (though we would have liked to have an extra key for convenience). We liked the short walk to the Cicada night market (up the street from the Hyatt), and enjoyed many afternoons with our young children playing at the beach. The two pools are clean and inviting, if a little on the small side for lap swimming. It was convenient to be able to buy bottled water from the front desk at a reasonable price. We'd definitely come again!
“Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation”
The condo was perfect for a large family with teenage kids. 3 large bedrooms, nice size family/living area (with cable TV), 2 great balconies, cozy full service kitchen, very cool aC, and high speed wireless internet. Condo complex is in an excellent location, right on a great beach, has 2 pools, and is a short walk to Cicada night market (Fri-Sun). Complex does not have an on-site restaurant but the Chomview is right next door and has decent inexpensive Thai and american food. A very short walk south gets you to the Let's Sea alfresco resort, very good food. Another short walk to the north gets you to the Hyatt. Taxi/tuk-tuk stand just outside the complex, short ride to the town center and the night markets. We will definitely come back!
“Wonderful family retreat at seaside”
We spent 9 wonderful days of relaxation at a very nice unit right on the beach in Huahin. The apartment (bedding for 8) was nicely decorated, clean and spacious for the 4 adults and two children. The location of the complex is very handy if you have your own car, only 5 minutes to the Market Village shopping centre. The two pools, one right on the beach were nice and good for swimming. Easy direct access to the beach for walking, recreation and swimming was convinient. There were many nice nearby places to eat good food at, especially the Wilaiwan bakery and coffee shop, a definate must. The only things which were lacking were a washing machine and a dishwasher but we lived well without them. We would definately recommend this place to families or even two families to share. We will most likely go back again in the future.
