Just a few minutes away from the picturesque village of Lahania and a few more from the ancient castle and village of Lindos where history is still written after ages of glory, wealth and fame. Although its situated amid the serene wheat fields; that will allow you to slow down and enjoy the pleasures of the exquisite nature its only a drives way from hot spots for amazing food, coffee shops, bars and carefully cared little shops for your souvenirs and memorabilia at the nearby villages. If you are looking to satisfy also your quench for site seeing and adventure you will be able to visit unique places such as the amazing double beach of Prasonisi, the medieval castle of Asklipio and the Italian ruins of Kattavia.

“Villa Lahania - Amazing”
We visited The Island of Rhodes and stayed at Villa Lahania for our first family holiday. Upon arrival we we met with a beautiful and cozy looking villa (a young Kitten, We found out later to be Zena). The pool was a good size for a few morning lengths, but more importantly for some family fun on inflatables, including the infamous lilo run across the pool. Sun beds were comfortable and good to have cushions for all beds (something we weren’t sure of as the photos showed none). The evenings were spent relaxing on the terrace over looking the pool, relaxed lighting and music if you wanted from the boom box that was provided with the villa. The kitchen was superbly equipped for everything you needed if you chose to remain in the villa and not eat out. Front room was comfortable along with an smart TV if you needed to entertain anyone at any point with some TV. More that 5 people in the villa, if you did choose to watch something together some of you would need to sit in the floor, but with our inflatables that wouldn’t have been a problems lol. The three double bedrooms were spacious, built in wardrobes (if you want to hang things take own hangers) and all had access to a balcony to take in the views of the area if you wished. We did not use the top room, but could see this would be a great space for kids, and whilst no air conditioning installed up there, it did have plenty of windows and fans for you to use. With the wind in this part of the island the room would probably have been kept cool enough. Bathrooms were good, both with decent showers, I could see it being a slow process if you had full villa, but with 6 you could cope without any problems. The villa does need a car, but you are located superbly for the short drive to Lindos/Lardos or the Prasonisi. Rhodes town itself was only a little over a hour as well. Kiotari and Gennadi both had plenty of eatery’s and supermarkets for your needs. We would advise if you are going to do some self catering, taking a little longer drive to Afandu and the cash and carry is well worth it to stock up properly on everything you need. An amazing family holiday, location great and villa brilliant. Typical Greek villa.

“Great Villa, great pool.”
A really lovely big villa, with a great pool, large spacious rooms and well presented, great outdoor covered areas on both the ground and first floor, there were only 4 of us so a double bedroom for us and one for each of our children. If there had been 12 of us we would have needed more sun beds around the pool and probably some more pots, pans, serving bowls as these were a bit limited although there were plenty of glasses, cutlery and crockery. We liked the area as it was quiet but near enough to Pethkos, Lindos and Lahania to find plenty of great places to eat and lots to do, particularly all the water sports at Pethkos, great beach bar there for lunch. We were disappointed as the dishwasher seemed to make everything worse than when it went in, when we used it on the last day, but apart from that a great villa, great pool and great area. We do think there should be a folder with useful information about the villa and local things to see and do and some recommendations for restaurants, although we are at a different restaurant every night and were never disappointed.
