“Living in a cloud” How can I express the wonderful feeling I had when I arrived to the home. We were received by Maria who has a heart of gold. She delivered and gave beyond what she had. We sat perched on the edge of a cliff overlooking the island and Fira dripping from the edge in white. As Maria went through all the best the island had to offer. The home was clean and beautifully decorated. It was a home that made you feel not only on vacation but also embodied the culture and style of Greece. You felt loved and at peace. You can be in that home to relax but in my case, I was surprising my parents with renewal of their vows so I was in close contact with Maria. I honestly did not expect the help she offered, and it was a lot. Making several calls and running around helping us with the details of a wedding. The catering, the flowers, the space. It was a full job for her. She seemed to do it all. Every morning our space was clean and we had fresh towels. If there was a request she was a phone call away. We had hotel amenities. Which is rare for a home rental to have. Over all - A spectacular home, amazing Service, Memorable time. “A Corner of Heaven” Just checked out and felt like we were leaving home. House was some steps below the heart of the village and close to the Castle where people gather for sunset. Even so, it was private, quiet, clean, and oh so cool on days we came in from exploring the village. Maria's orientation with us was very helpful--she used a map to show us Santorini beaches and restaurants. Her name in those restaurants worked magic: complimentary wine and desserts, and excellent food, too. Different breakfasts were delivered to us each morning--heavenly to sit on the patio with nothing between us and the aegean. One bedroom was upstairs (could be warm) and one in basement, but three would sleep on main floor. Hands down, we three would go back in a minute!

“All Your Cares Melt Away The Moment You Walk In” What a delightful house. We were met at the post office by Konstantina and Stavros who made sure our bags were transported to the blue and white house hassle-free. Konstantina keeps the property spotless. Maria the owner, along with Stavros and Konstantina make the best team in Santorini and they will really make sure you have absolutely nothing to worry about during your stay. When people mention hordes of tourists in Oia they do mean hordes and it can be overwhelming to navigate the streets with so many people milling about. It also gets very hot during the day in Oia, not really humid but the direct sun does bake your skin, so it was a real treat to be able to hang out or nap in the very relaxing blue and white house until around 5 p.m. when the sun would be more merciful and the crowds start thinning out. Then you can walk up and down the cobblestone streets and really take your time enjoying the shops and excellent restaurants. With the blue and white house you are right in Oia but you have a sanctuary from all the commotion. When you are inside the house which was always the perfect cool temperature or on the patio enjoying the spectacular view you will really savor the peace and tranquility of the caldera. We would get bread, cold cuts and wine at the nearby convenience store for satisfying and inexpensive meals. Occasionally the photographers do come by with a bride and groom for a brief photo shoot right in front of the house but that just adds to the experience and appreciation of the truly scenic spot that you happen to be in. Since it was our first trip to Santorini I really wanted to experience "true Santorini living" so I decided to stay in a cave house and not a hotel. I am so happy with that decision. The stay was unforgettable, and Oia was a good base to explore other towns like Megalochori, Imerovigli, Firostefani, Fira, and Akrotiri. Roads are dark at night and driving can be dangerous so it was good to already be in Oia at sundown. As a big bonus, wi-fi was consistently strong throughout our stay. “Magical Love” The host gave us access to the rooftop to celebrate my parents 40th anniversary with a surprise of the renewal of their vows. We decorated the space with green wreath and roses that the Host helped us with. The rate was perfect. If you need anything she can provide. The sunset was a spectacular one and we were extremely happy with the ceremony. We thank you Maria for making this happen -- THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

“Best Villa in Milos” I stayed at this beautiful villa last year and it was one of the best places to spend your holiday! I've stayed in a few other hotels/ villa's on the island of Milos but I can safely say that I enjoyed Casa aiora the most! From the wonderful interior design, to the fantastic courtyard this place is perfect. It was great to wake up to delicious homemade snacks in the morning as well. There is a nice kitchen so if you choose to cook you have everything at your disposal to do so. The beds are very comfortable and the air condition is always a bonus on the warm Milos nights! There is parking nearby as well so you don't have leave your car down the bottom of the hill. The location is ideal as it is close enough to walk to most of adamas' bars, restaurants and cafe's but it is very secluded and sheltered from any of the party noises. The villa is wonderfully maintained, we didn't encounter any problems on our stay and it is cleaned very well daily! The owner Katy is very helpful and knows everything about the island and knows all the best beaches, restaurants and will also advise where to get your rental cars. Overall I couldn't have asked for anything more from my island holiday and will definitely be going back there next time I travel to Milos!

“A wonderful, comfortable and quiet place” We stayed in the house in august 2013. The house is just perfect: large, comfortable, extremely quiet, and perfectly equipped. I cannot mention a single flaw. The house is at walking distance (200m) from the most beautiful beach of Naxos: white sand and crystal-clear water. Then, you have the choice: walk right and you have a whole range of restaurants, bars, private beaches. Walk left and the beach is wild. The terrace on the second floor has a nice view on the sea and on the sunset. Naxos is a beautiful island that offers many sites to visit (small villages, ruins) and different landscapes. Be sure to rent a car; it's cheap. Be also sure to make a boat trip round the Island . I definitely recommend that house, especially for a family that's looking for independence and tranquility. As said by other reviewers, Athena, the owner, is very kind and helpful.
