Description
Start your day with coffee on one of the many balconies and patios. This, after a peaceful night of sleep outside of the noisy centro (fireworks are rare at 2:00 a.m. in La Lejona). Leisurely walk into the centro to enjoy a day of strolling along the streets and enjoying the many shops and restaurants. You can walk home, take the practically free shuttle bus, or spend $3 on a taxi back home. End your day with a beautiful roof top sunset and a glass of wine and a nice long soak in the master bath tub. It is an easy walk (1km) to the new La Casona Convention Center! PERFECT year round climate in an upscale colonial community. This home is beautiful and comfortable with a great open floor plan. The best combination of contemporary design with old Mexican colonial craftsmanship. Includes cantera columns, brick boveda ceilings and handmade talavera tiles throughout all of the rooms. The master suite features a large walk-in closet, private bathroom (with a comfortable soaking tub), sofa lounge area for reading and a private balcony. The master bedroom iron french doors open to the balcony for a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee and for an afternoon siesta later in the day. The upstairs also features 2 more large bedrooms, ample closet space and another full bathroom with very colorful talavera tiles. The house is located very conveniently to the (almost free) shuttle bus stop one block from the house that takes you to the center of town. The large La Comer grocery store is a short 5 minute walk and there is also a neighborhood tienda (market) even closer. From the rooftop you can see the beautiful La Parroquia in the center of town. The Instituto Allende is a flat walk from the house. You will be happy to return home after a very busy day of shopping and sightseeing to the peaceful neighborhood of La Lejona!
