“Excellent Cabin in a brilliant location”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2016

We have stayed in many rental properties in the UK and Europe extensively as well as the US and without a doubt this is right up there battling for first place as the top home from home to meet our holiday needs. An excellent cabin in a great location. Our trip was clearly a summer holiday taking in many places in South California and it was great to beat the summer heat of the desert and coast to be in Big Bear Lake and I can only imagine it would be equally brilliant in the snowy winter months with a roaring log fire. .....happy days are guaranteed.

“Not RIGHT on the lake as photos suggest but cozy and spacious cabin with hot tub and close proximity to Big Bear village”

Reviewed 24 Mar 2015

This cabin was very comfortable and cozy and really embodied the "cabin feel." The living room was very spacious and had a large TV that provided access to Netflix and other programs (a big plus). The kitchen was very well stocked with a wide array of kitchenware and grilling tools, which really came in handy for the grill right outside. We especially enjoyed the hot tub (spent many hours here), as we stayed in Big Bear in March and it was quite chilly out. The only problem we had with the house was the fact that the pictures were deceptive in making it appear that the cabin was right on the lake, which was not the case. There was a whole house right in front of us and blocked much of our view of the lake, as well as a long fence that made it impossible for us to even access the lake from our area (we had to walk a few hundred feet down the street to the marina to get to the water). Otherwise, the house was incredibly cozy and accommodating and made for a relaxing three-night stay up in the mountains for our Spring Break.

Response from the owner Thank you for the positive review as we do appreciate guest experience feedback. Regarding the cabin location, the first sentence in the first paragraph of the cabin description on the Home webpage states: “Surrounded by tall pines, 4 Seasons Of Fun™, a family-friendly vacation cabin rental, is in close proximity to all that Big Bear Lake has to offer - located across the street from Big Bear Lake, 400 feet from Big Bear Marina, a short stroll to the Village boutiques and …”. We sent you our custom “Fun Stuff” vacation planning link which contains Digital Goodies such as the “Check Out The Neighborhood” section which also has the above mentioned location verbiage as well as an interactive Google 360 degree Street View of our cabin and surrounding area. All our photos are taken on property and reflect exactly what you’ll see while staying at our cabin depending on the season. The Sunset View was taken from our front yard - it was an awesome sight so zoomed the lens in to capture the color. The picture of the rockers on our deck presents the lake view in our windows. We take great pride in presenting our cabin as-is and have 70 5-star online reviews over the past 6 years from guests attesting to how excited they were with the great views from the cabin. Again, thank you for your business and it’s great to know you had a positive vacation experience.

“Comforts of home with spectacular location”

Everything we needed was there. Well outfitted cabin, with modern undated appliances, on quiet street next to lake. We caught some trout for dinner on lake, and the cabin had every thing we needed to cook them up for dinner. Even some seasonings! Great movie selection to choose from too. They have thought of everything to make you feel at home

“Everything we expected and then some!”

The cabin was everything they said it would be. It was within walking distance to the Marina, where we kept our boat. We walked to the village to shop and have lunch. We even walked to a restaurant for dinner one night. We especially enjoyed the mornings sitting in the living room having our coffee, chatting and watching the sun come up. The views from the deck and the living room are wonderful. We definitely plan to stay at 4 Seasons of Fun again!

“A great family vacation at 4 Seasons of Fun was had by all.”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2013

Our recent five day stay in Big Bear at 4 Seasons of Fun was wonderful. We took our 13 year old grandson with us, and we were all sorry to see our time in Big Bear come to an end. The cabin was perfect. There was plenty of room, even when we had visitors on two different days. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home. The best part of the cabin, by far, is the front porch. Many hours were spent on that porch in the rocking chairs reading and enjoying the lake view. We also took advantage of the hot tub several times a day. We kept busy kayaking in Fawnskin, enjoying the alpine Slide, playing golf on the beautiful course and discovering little places to eat. We would definitely stay at this home away from home again.

“Great location, lovely place with all the comforts on home”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2013

My husband and I stayed here with our two kids (2 & 4), along with their grandparents. The moment we entered the cabin our kids were crazy excited to find a gift basket with fun toys/items for them. There was plenty of room for all of us and the kids just loved their room (bunk bed and their own TV). The house is just a few blocks from the village. It is very convenient to be in such close proximity to the shops, restaurants, and the marina. It is a very cozy place, but spacious. The kitchen has most of the basics you'd need (salt, pepper, coffee filters, etc.), which helped us save on our grocery bill. When we checked out, my son accidently left his hotwheels in the house. I notified the owner and vacation rental company. When the cleaning crew found the toys, the rental company was kind enough to mail them out to us. Needless to say we were very grateful and would definitely recommend this place! You won't be disappointed.

“scenic location, very relaxing, quiet, short walking distance to”

Reviewed 2 May 2013

The cabin is located just across the street from Big Bear Lake with a great view of the water and boating activities. That's what we like. There is a long front porch to just sit and relax. Inside the cabin (more like a home) are all the comforts any one would need for a week end or a week, Plenty of room with modern conveniences. We can walk to town in about 7 minutes. This was our second stay here and we look forward to coming back soon.

“Rest, Relaxation and Reading”

Reviewed 18 Nov 2012

It was perfection! Just what I needed, rest and relaxation in a quiet beautiful place. Great view of the lake, nature (saw a bald eagle just across the street). Read for at least an hour a day in the spa right outside the master bedroom and gazing at the lake. Always felt safe with neighbors nearby yet private. Supplied with anything you might need even down to an emergency 'gift basket' with deodorant, toothbrush/paste, chapstick, etc. I will be back very soon. Thank you I can
