Description

Ty Gwartheg is part of a unique group of cottages in the quiet hamlet of Tretio, three miles north of the historic city of St David's and a short walk from the magnificent Pembrokeshire Coast Path and beautiful sandy beaches. The cottages has been refurbished to the highest Visit Wales 5 star grade, whilst retaining it's wonderful character of oak beams, oak flooring and original stone walls, perfect for relaxing in welcoming comfort. There is room for six with two cots or put-u-up bed and for two well behaved dogs by prior arrangement.

Getting around

The local "Puffin Shuttle" bus, may be caught at the end of the road, will pick you up and drive to many of the beaches, coves, villages and St Davids or deliver you back.

Interaction with guest

On arrival you will be shown to the cottage and given the keys. There is a pack that we have drawn-up with information on the cottage, the hamlet, surrounding area and useful contact numbers. Also, there are recommendations on best places to visit, beaches, walks and eateries. We are on-hand to assist you in any way if required.

“Excellent, peaceful location and comfortable”

A lovely cottage in a quiet lane away from any main road so birdsong was all we could hear. The coastal path is a 30 minute walk away. The cottage is very spacious and the beds are comfortable , made up with attractive linen . It was lovely after our very long journey to be greeted with a wonderful cake , and the fresh garden flowers in the lounge and bedroom made it feel very welcoming and homely. It was great to have the very efficient wood burner in the sitting room to light in the evenings to keep us cosy after exploring the beautiful area and walking every day on the coast path. Thank you Rob and Honey for a truly great stay in your lovely cottage . I am sure we will be back.

“Beautiful cottage”

Last minute weekend away down pembroke. The cottage is beautiful and peaceful and the log burner was a delight. Excellent equipment within the cottage. There were 6 adults and one child and Robert was more than happy to put a pull up bed out for the little one. The games rooms is a bonus, as it kept the little one occupied and even got the adults involved. Very helpful and excellent communication.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Robert (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
