Description
Coedmor Barn is a one Bed-roomed Stone Built detached Cottage. Set in an acre of landscaped gardens overlooking the Mawddach Estuary with magnificent views to the Cadair Idris mountain range.

The cosy open-plan lounge with its beamed ceiling leads through French-windows to a small balcony with fantastic views of the garden and overlooking the Mawddach Estuary and Cadair Idris mountain range. There is a TV/DVD Player and a small electric (wood burning effect) fire to keep you warm and cosy in the evenings. Off the lounge is the bedroom with a double bed, the shower room and well equipped kitchen/dining area. There is an electric cooker, fridge and microwave oven. With a private parking area next to the entrance for one car. Situated between Barmouth and Dolgellau the cottage has Central heating and is equipped to a high standard providing comfortable accommodation throughout the year. Coedmor Barn is an ideal location for that romantic break. Minutes drive from miles of stunning sandy beaches. There are many castles, historic sites and gardens to visit. With numerous and varied walks, quiet lanes for cyclists and stunning scenery. There really is something for everyone.

“Cosy quiet location”
Lovely spotless cottage with everything you need. Fantastic garden and views. Close to amenities and places of interest. Lovely restaurants close by but advise to book in some. Only criticism was the seating for us we are a elderly couple and the settee was far to low and the chairs at the table were inadequate. This criticism is only because of our age the cottage is tastefully done out and really cosy. Would definitely recommend.

“Coedmor Barn Barmouth .”
Excellent accommodation in an outstanding area . Thoroughly recommend it . Make sure to take some bird feeders with you and you will be amazed what will appear in front of your eyes .

“Beautiful situation”
Gorgeous place to stay if visiting Barmouth and locality. The gardens are delightful and the accommodation has everything you could need. Having the outdoor space and garden was a real bonus. We took our own camping chairs and sat out on the small lawn next to the decking in the sunshine. Take your bikes and ride on the Mawddach trail from Dolgellau into Barmouth across the footbridge running alongside the long railway bridge over the estuary.

“Very good value for money with lovely estuary and mountain views”
Good access for walking and the beach - can recommend the precipice walk near Dolgellau and Harlech beach, the castle restaurant there for tasty Welsh rarebit and jacket potatoes! Can also recommend the coffee house and restaurant in Dolgellau for excellent fish and chips. Cottage was well equipped, lots of towels, cosy and warm with outside seating for bird watching; set in lovely natural gardens. Welcome pack of wine, biscuits, teas and coffees etc., and chocolate plus good quality toiletries was a nice touch. Liked the NO DOG policy too which is rare. Ideal for a couple. Traffic quietened down in the evening. Beware - slightly tricky entrance from and onto the main road.

“Perfect...”
When we arrived everything was exactly as described. It was beautiful with tranquil settings. We really enjoyed the 2 days we spent there. Everything was there necessary in the cottage. What would be beneficial would be Wi-Fi as my partner works online and wasn't able to work. Apart from this it out stay was lovley. So thank you for everything and we will be back sometime next year!!!
