Description

Las Tortugas is perched on a breezy hillside on the Grenadine island of Carriacou, 20 miles north of Grenada. There are two air conditioned master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a double bed in the loft and a games room with two divans and a third full bathroom downstairs. The views from the veranda are incredible, and look out over a turquoise ocean at eight islands, three of which are uninhabited, A path from the garden leads to the famous mile-long Paradise Beach. Should you want to snorkel, there is a nearby reef, which you can first check out from the veranda.

The infinity edge pool and deck area nestles next to the villa, and there are two gas BBQs, one on the veranda and the other on the pool deck. There is free WiFi throughout the villa.

The prevailing cool breeze blows through the villa all year round. There are three bars on Paradise beach serving drinks and casual meals, and boatmen to take you out to picturesque Sandy Island, a half mile away, across L'Esterre Bay.

Our man Godfrey will meet and welcome you, and will be available each day during your stay for housekeeping services. You can arrange with Godfrey's wife, Leslie Ann, to cook occasional meals, if you should require this.

A rental car is included in the package at no additional charge, for visits of seven nights or more.

Our man Godfrey will welcome you on arrival at the Airport or Ferry Terminal to take you to the villa and get you settled in, and he will be available each day during your stay to advise you on things to do, and to provide housekeeping services. Response from the owner Thanks for your comments. So pleased you enjoyed our space and beachfront location. Our apologies that the rental car did not meet your expectations, but there are no recognized rental companies on-island, and no new cars available. We will, however, discuss the problem with our provider, and see what can be done. We are arranging to upgrade our linens, and will acquire additional pillows of varying firmness, as we know that sleeping comfort choices are varied and very personal. Our apologies also for the air conditioner which failed during your visit. Unfortunately, appliance parts are unavailable in Carriacou, and in this case had to be imported by sea from Trinidad. The replacement part has now been received and will be installed within the next week. We will certainly be speaking to our housekeeper about the cleanliness of the villa, but encourage our guests to address any concerns directly to Godfrey, who is on site daily, and can address and resolve most issues immediately. Thanks for having stayed at Las Tortugas, and very best wishes.

How do damage deposits work?
