Description
Viewfoth Cottage comfortably sleeps 2 people in the double bedroom. Situated a short walk from the sandy beach with shops and restaurants within minutes, this delightful single-storey detached holiday cottage is tastefully furnished and provides a cosy base from which to explore the surrounding area. Fife offers wonderful shorelines, historic buildings and pretty fishing villages renowned for whitewash and red-pantiled roofs. The Fife Coastal Path runs for 80 miles, with many wonderful walks. Why not amble along the coast to Lower Largo, the home of Robinson Crusoe, and enjoy lunch in the Crusoe Hotel. Ideal for golfers, Leven is home to the championship course at Leven Links, used on several occasions as a qualifying course for the British Open. St Andrews famous 'Old Course' is approx 20 miles away. The historic city of Edinburgh with its breathtaking castle, Glasgow and Perth are all within easy reach.
All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 1 double bedroom. Shower room with toilet.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen and towels included.. Freeview TV.

“Quaint Cottage”
Compact cottage with room for two people. Everything needed for our stay. Bright and spacious bedroom with built in wardrobe and plenty of drawer space. No garden but no problem as around the corner from lovely and clean sea front with lovely green area to sit on. Enjoyed our weeks stay.

“Ideal location for sea front & town centre / needs a wee freshen up”
We booked here as we had never explored this area of Scotland. Small cottage , which we knew but almost everything there you needed. Ideal location for sea front (1 minute walk), and town centre (5 minute walk). Situated on what we thought was a quiet residential street but it seems to be a 'rat run' for town, some very fast traffic, as the sign says above the door - watch for traffic when leaving house - you have a doorstep then the road. The air freshener diffuser was a bit overpowering to start with, we never noticed that smoking was allowed, that would explain the slight smell of smoke. It could do with a wee freshen up, electric socket loose and bathroom tap was also loose. Photos on Website says on road parking but there were 2 old camper vans parked opposite which had been there for ages by the look of them. Safe parking 50 yards away in free public carpark. Good value for money and ideal for a few nights away. Could benefit from a welcome / info sheet regards outside dustbin, heating and local info.

“Lovely break”
Third time I've stayed in this cottage. Ideal for my needs. Central position with easy walk to shops and beach. Will be booking again.

“Super little cottage”
Nice little cottage , all you need for a few days away from home. Central for everything and for nearby locations, only thing I would say is in need of a new mattress and pillows. Some damp also in bedroom otherwise super place.

“Cottage”
Had a lovely stay in the cottage, great base to explore the area. Very comfortable and the place has everything you need. Didn't find it a problem parking and the location has the beach and shops/places to eat, only a couple of minutes walk away. We enjoyed being able to relax at night, decent size TV with free view and comfortable furniture. As I said, everything you need for a break away and correspondence with the owner was good. Would definitely recommend the place to anyone wishing to visit the area.

Response from the owner This charming small cottage has everything you need to enjoy your holiday beach, shops, pubs, and restaurants only minutes away it is placed in a quiet street with 20mph speed limit, address details with postcode sent on the morning of arrival along with my phone number for any issues
