Description

In the centre of the village we propose this delicious flat, recently renovated, inside a medieval house. Being south faced it has sun the whole year. The flat, with high wooden ceilings, is made of a double bedroom furnished with antique furniture, a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a mezzanine where three people can sleep, a bathroom and a balcony with a wonderful view over the Nervia Valley and the village of Castelvittorio. In the balcony you can sunbathe or have your meals under the sun. The living room has a large flat TV. Fast Wi-Fi internet through an antenna is available for free. The flat, which is furnished with all the modern appliances and a centralized heating, is in the historic centre of Pigna which is only accessible on foot, but parking is just 100 meters away. Shops and retaurants are a 2-3 minutes walk from the flat. Towels, bed sheets and blankets are provided. This is a second floor flat and being a medieval house the staircase leading to the flat is steeper than standard staircases. It is hardly suitable for people with walking difficulties or very old people.

Pigna is a medieval village 20 minutes (20 kilometers) from the sea and not far away from the French Riviera and Montecarlo. Nice airport is about one hour by car, while Genoa airport is about one and half hour away. Pigna can boast the only thermal bath in Liguria. The area is part of a regional park with other medieval villages and a pristine nature where you can practice several sports, such as canyoning, mountain biking, montaineering, horse riding and walking. In Pigna and in the neighbouring villages you can find excellent restaurants where you can taste the local cuisine and shops selling genuine local products. Pigna is listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy by the Italian Private Tourism Association "Touring club":

I will see what can be done to improve it, but unfortunately at present wifi Internet connection is not very good in Pigna even with the other Internet providers.
