Description
Property built on the foothills of the ancient castle of Rochecorbon, adjoining the old Lantern watch, only vestige of the castle. At the heart of a charming village, while overlooking it, the site is surrounded by vineyards (AOC Vouvray) and situated along the Loire in a frame of an exceptional panorama, classified as world heritage by UNESCO and friom 15 to 30kms of the key Chateaux de la loire..
The cottage of 120 m2 (classified 3 stars by the Tourism office of Tours Val de Loire) is situated in the property. It has been completely renovated in 2014 and is fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, wifi, TV, garden furniture, deckchairs, table tennis, barbecue, etc..).
First floor: large living room, separate lounge semi. kitchen, fireplace, courtyard,
2d floor: 1 bedroom bed of 160 with private bathroom with shower, two bedrooms 1 bed 160 and 2 beds 90, second bathroom with shower, 1 WC. Linens provided. housekeeping at the end of the stay, subject to additional fee.
Cottage, courtyard, Dedicated garden around the cottage area. Private parking on property. Visit of troglodyte caves on property prohibited without presence of the owners.
Shops and restaurants in the village.
Excellent starting point to visit the "chateaux de la Loire". From 15 to 30 kms from Amboise, Chenonceau, Azay Le Rideau, Villandry, Loches, Chinon, etc..
At just 5 mns from the historical area of Tours
Golf d'Ardrée or Golf de touraine (ballan-Miré): +/- 15 mns
Activities at the village: .Hiking, historical sites, Loire by bike, boat tour on the Loire, canoeing on the Loire, visits to wineries, amusement parc and guinguette along the Loire in Rochecorbon, Municipal swimming pool nearby.
