Description
If you love the beach and falling asleep to the sound of the waves, you'll love Beach Place. A home from home, the 2 bedroom detached, modern cottage directly faces sandy Walcott beach and has incredible views along the Norfolk coast and out to sea. Our guests return year after year. It's on a small unmade lane just outside Walcott, so very quiet and private. Also dog friendly all year round.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms - one double and one twin (one of the beds is child sized) and a bathroom with over bath shower. Downstairs, there's a cloakroom and the open plan kitchen / lounge has flat screen TV, DVD, CD / ipod player / DAB radio, microwave, fridge / freezer, dishwasher and floor to ceiling windows with sea views. The spacious conservatory has a dining table / chairs, sofa and cupboard containing a washing machine. The small, sheltered back garden has a table and chairs and a BBQ. Wi-Fi is available.
You can easily walk to 2 local pubs - both family friendly and serving good food - a fish and chip shop, café and village shop. Only 20 minutes from the Norfolk Broads, Norwich is 25 miles away and there are several National Trust properties nearby - Blickling & Felbrigg Halls, Sheringham Park, Horsey Windpump (hundreds of seals over the autumn / winter) and East Runton Vicarge Gardens.

“Fab Little House”
An amazing place right on the beach. Great local fish and chips, pub close by. Michael the host is super friendly and very helpful. Great for dogs.

“Beach holiday”
This property was very well situated for a beach holiday, you could be on the beach in less than 2 mins. Easy walking distance to the ice cream parlour and chip shop.. Beautiful empty beach.the property itself was quite tired and could do with an update. The property was clean, but lacked personal touches. Would I go bsck yes because it's positive position outweighs the negatives.

“A warm and comfortable cottage with stunning views”
This was our first venture away from home since lockdown and Beach Place was the perfect choice. The cottage is in a quiet, peaceful location with outstanding beach and sea views. The coastal path is on the doorstep and we were fortunate to have ideal walking weather during our stay. We had an excellent holiday break and hope to return in the future. Astrid and Ray Schofield.

“Another lovely stay”
Although the weather was a disappointment, beach place was lovely warm and Cosy. This is the second time we have visited and still a great place to stay the beach is a 10 second walk away the heating was on so although the rain poured down and wind blowing. We could watch the waves and weather from the comfort of a lovely warm cosy house . And wet weather gear from walking the dog dried quickly. Thanks for a great weekend
