The bed and breakfast "The Miller's House" is situated in Capriata d'orba, village of lower Piedmont, between Vallemme and Orba Valley, which is located 12 km from the Centre of Gavi and Novi Ligure, Ovada. Country house attached to a mill which has medieval origins (15th century), inhabited by the family of the owner from the years ' 40, today has been completely restored keeping the original features. Guest rooms are furnished with furniture of the past and welcome guests in a family atmosphere.
Offers a relaxing, wellness and sports in contact with nature and with a territory worth discovering. It is ideal for those who want to admire the hills of Alto Monferrato between flavours and traditions more genuine, tasting the typical dishes of the area: the agnolotti, game, cured meats and local wines such as the Gavi DOCG and Dolcetto di Ovada.
For those wishing to organize a food and wine tour the owner will recommend the best restaurants, wineries and the famous distilleries in the area.
"The Miller's House" is the starting point for those who want to admire the territory by motorcycle, by bicycle or for those who want to make long walks. It is the ideal place for those who want to practice sports or focus on hunting and fishing.
