Description
Fonte Aulente is a Tuscan farmhouse from the 12th century recently restored and surrounded by beautiful garden-park, 2 km from the center of Montalcino, in a panoramic position with amazing views over the Tuscan hills.
The apartment is a part of the old farmhouse, with its own entrance. The apartment can accommodate from two to four guests. The suite is self-contained and consists of a bedroom with panoramic views, ensuite bathroom with shower, and a living/dining area with kitchenette which opens onto the beautiful garden. A further twin bedroom is available on request. The apartment is characteristically Tuscan, with wooden beams and flagstone floors, and is also furnished with some unique design pieces.
A beautiful park of almost 2 hectares with ancient cypress, olive and fruit trees surrounds the property. You are welcome to pick any fruits that you find in the garden or to collect and try our aromatic herbs in your cuisine. You will also enjoy the scent of our lavender and rose flowers.

“Great Location”
We can only reiterate the excellent reviews that have gone before. Fonte Aulente is in a great location, quiet and secluded with amazing views of the Tuscan countryside and close to the beautiful town of Montalcino. The accommodation, including the extensive garden with its large fresh water pool, offered everything our family of four needed. We were close enough to visit Siena, Florence, Pisa and the beach on day trips. Our hostess Alexandra was welcoming and helpful throughout the stay without ever being intrusive, suggesting local drives and sharing her passion for the local wines. We thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Fonte Aulente and look forward to returning in the future.

As I explained upon your arrival our cleaner had a small accident on that day and she could not clean the room on time. I was very sorry on your arrival and proposed you a winery visit while we were going to arrange the cleaning. You said you preferred to visit Montalcino and I have asked one of the girls working for us to clean the apartment and I have checked it myself. I am sorry if she missed the plates in the cupboard. It is the firs time since we have opened our farmhouse to guests that our usual cleaner could not do her job. Alltogether I was very sorry for it, I have explained that it was very exceptional and I offered you a bottle of wonderful Brunello 2009 to apologise for any inconvenience. I am happy that you acknwledhe that the room was cosy and warm. We really put all possible efforts to keep our guests happy and the appartment cosy, warm and clean. And fortunately other feedbacks confirm that.
