Meiacasa is in the Village of VouzelaIn the village you can find shops, restaurants, cafés and supermarkets, it also has a camping place with a swiming-pool, that is open with a fee to general public during summer. You can also find around some nice river places to swim. The house accommodates up to 6 persons, description: -1 Bedroom with a double bed- 1 Bedroom with one single drawer bed- 1 Bedroom with two single beds- 2 Bathrooms with shower- 1 toilet- 1 sitting room / working room- 1 living room with a fire place / dinning room + 1 kitchen with a wood oven.It also has one eating area outside with a barbecue.Amenities: - Bathroom and Bed linen- Washing machine- Dishwasher- Refrigerator with freezer- Oven - Microwave oven- Coffee machine- Kettle- Toaster- Hair dryer- Space heaters-Sound system/DVD- TV- Internet. - 2 bycicles- There is the possibility (extracharge) for ordering meals to be cooked at home , babysitting or guide assistance.There is a thermal treatment center 3 Km away from Vouzela in São Pedro do Sul and an old car and art museum 30 km away in Caramulo, Monte Belo Golf is also 30 km away in Torredeita.The nearest cities are Viseu (25 km), Aveiro/ Sea side (50 km), Coimbra and Oporto (100 km).Serra da Estrela known for winter skying is 80 km away.You will have either one of us or someone else in the family to receive you and help in everything needed, but generally we wont be stayng in the house, only if convenient and previously arranged with you,and wish you a peacefull, relaxing and pleasant stay in this beautifull region of Portugal!Vouzela belongs to Região de Lafões (Region of Lafões), well known for Its gastronomy, especially the calf meat; wine and pastry with its delicious "pastéis de vouzela". It has beautiful nature landscapes with walking and bycicle trills and typical small villages all around, with some bigger and nice cities not so far. In the summer you can have some really hot days (max 35ºC), and in winter some really cold days (min 2ºC), even though also in Portugal we don´t have any more so well defined seasons all year long.The best way to travel around is by car, there is a bus to the main cities, but they take some time, stopping in small villages around, and are scarce on week-ends.As there is a stair like land that goes down to the river stream, the property is not closed, and care has to be taken, with small children and with animals.Children under 6 year of age, are extra charge, if sleeping in their parents rooms.Please keep the space as if it was your own
