Description
This lovely one bedroom apartment is very special with all the comforts of home and more, a lot of love and care was taken by the owner when decorating. It is situated in a beautiful old building with well maintained common parts that has original murals on the walls and ceilings. It is located on the 4th floor with no lift. The location is excellent and close to all amenities, in a quieter small square in the historic old town just a minute from Place Rossetti and three minutes from the beach and Promenade des Anglais.
The Living Area
The living room like the apartment throughout has a very happy vibe bursting with personality, decorated in a homely manner with an artistic flair. Three windows allow lots of natural light to shine through with views overlooking the small square 'Place Vielle', the pretty colourful buildings of old Nice, over the rooftops to Colline du château (Chateau hill) and the waterfall.In the living area you will find a comfy two seater sofa, a small side table with lamp, sideboard, TV and WiFi, a relaxation area with rug and lots of comfy cushions and a beautiful Moroccan style lamp overhead - perfect for stretching out with a good book after a days sightseeing. For dining in there is a large round table with seating place for four which is conveniently placed just opposite the kitchen.
The Kitchen
The kitchen has all you should need for dining in with plenty of worktop space for preparation. It comes equipped with 2 ring hob, Microwave oven, Dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedroom
In the bedroom you will find a king size bed, beautiful Murano glass sidelights - in the form of flowers, a large sliding glass wardrobe and a vanity area with mirror. The bedroom has its own window which allows lots of light but like the rest of the windows has pretty wooden shutters which you can close to shut out the light for a peaceful nights sleep.
Bathroom
The stylish bathroom is finished in an elegant grey tile and has a large walk in rain shower, vanity unit and mirror, towel rail heater and toilet.
Your Arrival:
You will be welcomed on arrival to the apartment and given the grand tour. Maps and tourist info will be available in the apartment with tourist info on local attractions and favourite restaurants etc.
This fee includes cleaning of apartment, provisions and laundering bed linen & towels, meet and greet, a welcome pack of niceties & necessities – a French bottle of wine, nibbles, coffee, a starter supply of dishwashing tablets, washing powder and toilet paper.
You will be met on your arrival and shown how everything works in the apartment, you will also receive tourist information & local maps. You can choose to be met at the apartment or at the nearest airport bus stop,
The apartment manager speaks English and enjoys welcoming guests from all over the world to their temporary home on the Riviera.
Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 10.30am. Should you wish an earlier or later check in we will try our best to accommodate you, depending if there is a same day check in / check out. For late arrivals after 8pm there is an additional fee of 20 euro, for arrivals between 10.00pm to midnight there the fee is 40 euro.
If you are interested in wine tasting, booking a trip and airport transfer or have any requests to make you stay extra special, please contact us and we will be happy to help.
HOUSE RULES - PLEASE READ
We don't want to implement lots of house rules as you are on holiday and we want you to relax and enjoy the apartment as much as we do. All we ask is that you love and respect our apartment and take good care of it for us. Please use your beach towels when sitting on the furniture if using sun cream and oil stains, as they can be difficult to remove and clean in time for the next guest. Also if using fake tan or hair dye please bring your own towels as these products permanently stain our white towels and linen which are expensive to replace. If towels and linen are soiled and stains cannot be removed then unfortunately you will be charged for replacing these items – we hope you understand.
Finally our last request is that you ensure that you had a fabulous stay and enjoy Nice and the Riviera as much as we do.

Response from the owner Thank you for your feedback. The drain smell was sorted after your departure when we noticed it ourselves. I am sure we could have done it during your stay have you have said something about it. The washing machine works very well. It was a matter of giving us a short call and someone would have come over to show you the correct way to use it. The Old Town of Nice has a unique charm which sometimes comes with a few disadvantages like too many steps to climb.

“Great apartment in the heart of old Nice.”
Great apartment in the heart of old Nice. A lovely apartment in the heart of the old town of nice. The apartment couldn't be better placed for our trip to Nice, everything you need is right on your door step. The Apartment was clean well-kept and just what we expected from the description and the reviews. Yes the stairs can be a bit of a challenge at times but worth it. Overall a very lovely apartment we will defiantly be staying here again.

“Great apartment in the heart of it all!”
This is a great apartment in the heart of "Old Nice." Location wise, it can't be beat. You are close to attractions, the Promenade, the park, tram/bus stops, and the metro. (There is even a tourist information office in the park.) The apartment is comfortable and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. After days of sight seeing, it was nice to come "home" and enjoy the space. You can spread out, relax and even cook if you wish. In the evening, you can walk out the front door and be on the Promenade in about 5 minutes! I would recommend this rental to a friend and visit again myself! The only issue is that it is four flights up - this good in that it is quiet in the evening. (The only thing you can hear is the far off sound of voices and the clanking of plates from the restaurant below) However, if stairs present a problem for you, this may not be the place. However, this is life in the old section of town. Overall, this apartment is a solid value and so much better than being stuck in a crowded hotel. You really will enjoy your stay at Murano.
