Typical Madeiran house in a quiet location

This property is a typical Madeiran country house that has been completely and faithfully renovated. This picturesque house is very comfortable, spread over three levels, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 spacious living/dining room and a small, restored wine cellar. We can boast a fully equipped rustic, yet very modern kitchen equipped with stove, oven, washing machine, kettle, toaster and fridge, plus a large kitchen table for everyday meals. You will enjoy a typical “Espetada” (even in rainy days) with the cosy indoor BBQ. On the lower ground floor there is also a garage for two cars.

You can also find a dining room with a unique handmade dining table and a cosy living room with satellite & cable TV channels and also a DVD player and a sound system ready for you to enjoy your favourite movies. Our Internet access service has a Wi-Fi/Wireless system that allows wireless access to the Internet anywhere in the house, in a simple and convenient way. On the first floor's two guest bedrooms, fully equipped with sheets and blankets, and you can also ask for a baby cot (free of charge).

The main large lounge opens onto a sunny terrace, ideal to sit out with a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening and simply enjoy the serenity of the place.

If you're travelling in the summer don't forget to try our tasty grapes, selected from the grape varieties planted in Madeira, and enjoy our unique and irresistible passion fruit.

The property is safe for children, and our house has comprehensive safety/security and has been fully inspected by the local authority and tourist office granted an “Alojamento Local” AL (Local accommodation) license.

“Wonderful accommodation”

The owners could not have been nicer or more helpful when we arrived. They left us a bottle of wine and a bowl of fruit - a nice touch we thought. We loved the little balcony upstairs under the grapevine where you could sit and see the sea and be shady as well. The accommodation was excellant with nearly everything you would need provided and we would definately recommend it to people. If there was a downside it would just be the toilet was downstairs.
