This beautiful villa for rent in Italy is located on the border between Tuscany and Lazio near the spa village of San Casciano dei Bagni (9km), member of “the most beautiful villages in Italy”, “I borghi più belli d'Italia”, association. Originally the hunting lodge of the lords of the Castle of Proceno, this villa sits on a hilltop overlooking the serene Tuscian countryside, where vestiges of the Etruscans still survive.

The house, elegantly furnished, can comfortably accommodate 14 people and is on two floors. On the ground floor there is an entrance with vaulted ceiling, a fully equipped kitchen with contiguous breakfast room, a large living room with fireplace separated by an arch from the dining room, a double divan bed, a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom and another dining room with fully equipped kitchenette. On the first floor there is a living room with open-hearth fireplace, a study with stairs leading to a gallery with twin beds ideal for children, a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom on two levels (the bathtub on the gallery enjoys a magnificent view from the bedroom's windows), a double bedroom (easily transformed into twin bedded) with en-suite bathroom fitted out with shower and another double bedroom with mini-bar and en-suite bathroom fitted out with bathtub.

Outside a covered veranda furnished with fireplace, barbecue and large dining table offers an ideal location for al fresco dining. The fenced grounds further offer a charming garden and swimming pool (12x6,open May-Oct, from 1 to 1.70 m deep).

This lovely villa with pool, located only 1.5 km from Trevinano, is in an ideal position for visiting most art centres of central Italy being half way between Florence (at 150 km) and Rome (at 150 km). In the surroundings one can visit Chiusi (30km) with its famous Etruscan museum and its “Labyrinth of Porsenna”, a series of tunnels under the town used in Etruscan-Roman times, Orvieto (30km) and its 13th century Cathedral as well as the spectacular well of St. Patrick, the tuff town of Pitigliano (40km), the crater Lake Bolsena (27km), the Etruscan town of Tuscania and much more. Furthermore Montepulciano is only 44 km away and Pienza 55km. Nearestt shops and restaurant in Trevinano, 1.5km.
