Description

Giamia Villas, built originally in 1885 by my great great grandfather (Cesidio) for one of his son (Pasquale) who had six sons of his own (Fafaele, Giulio, Costanzo, Modesto, Damiano (my grandfather) and Armando). I was born in a very small part of this house in 1949. As time passed the house fell in disrepair and was abandoned for thirty years. In 2006, returning to Italy after 39 years and seeing it in the condition that it was in I decided to buy it. I had to pay a percentage of the value to 21 different owners. After three years we completed the renovations and have now a premier tourist rental property.

Located in the region of Abruzzo, "The green lung of Italy" due to its many national parks. This region is the only area of Italy that provides the seashore (Pescara) on the Adriatic Coast, plains, river valleys and mountains.

Located just outside of Sulmona (30,000 population) "The City of Arts" the hub for 65 towns, villages and hamlets. Local outdoor market place twice a week and it origins date back to the Roman Empire.

With its rural location away from the hustling and bustling major centres it is a ideal treasure to experience the true Italian cultural with its many unique restaurants, shops and recreational activities. Pricing is 1/3 of that of Rome or Tuscany.

Located only 1 1/2 hour east of Rome and only 45 minutes drive to the Adriatic Sea.
