The property offers an excellent base from which to explore this beautiful part of Provence. Free car parking is at your disposal directly opposite.The apartment is on the ground floor of a respectfully renovated building dating back several centuries. There is a bedroom with en suite bathroom and living-room/dining/kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including : oven/hob/grill, fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, washer/dryer, wifi, flat screen TV / DVD, offering all you will need for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.You will find the old town, shops, restaurants, antiques fairs, waterways and cafés within a couple of minutes walk of the property.Spend a leisurely afternoon browsing one of the many galleries L'isle Sur La Sorgue is famous for, or, for a more active holiday, the region offers a wealth of things to do including: cycling, hiking and kayaking.Just a short drive away are the pretty hill-top villages of the Luberon, where visitors can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and you can unwind with a glass of wine in one of the medieval squares.You can also visit the lavender fields and famous villages such as Gordes, Bonnieux, Roussillon and Lacoste. The cities of Avignon, Aix en Provence and Saint Rémy de Provence are a short drive away and you can also enjoy a day out at one of the famous vineyards of the Cotes du Rhone.The town is easily accessible on foot but car parking is available for free directly opposite the property on the other side of the river.The train station (SNCF) : 600m (10 minutes on foot).The property is about 20 minutes from Avignon Caumont Airport by car.

Getting around

The town is relatively compact so within 20 minutes or so you’ll find your way back to the apartment no matter which way you walk, pretty useful given the quality of the wine in the area!

“Perfect Getaway"”

We recently stayed at the Waters Edge apartment in L'Isle sur la Sorgue and I have to say it was fantastic. It has been recently renovated and no expense has been spared. The owner was very helpful throughout the booking process and reccommended some nice places to visit as well as good restaurants within walking distance. For the price we paid, I think it is excellent value for money. We are already planning our next trip!!
