Description
The Tobacco Tower is a beautifully recently restored boutique villa. It has a large kitchen with three picture windows onto pretty secluded and unspoilt valley. The interior is beautifully decorated with a contemporary feel.
There is a laundry room and several different living areas where people can sit undisturbed. The beds are all high quality as are the fluffy towels provided.
Old tiled floors and travertine work surfaces give a villa a luxury appeal. All around the villa there are pockets of lovely landscaped garden leading you up to a secluded private swimming pool and a secret olive grove with trees and shrubs.
Fireflies, butterflies and birds live around this paradise where you can sit out on a balmy evening sipping Sagrantino wine or chilled prosecco, planning your stay as your busy work life retreats further away each day you are there. Wifi makes it easy to connect with any concerns you may have.
Within easy reach are a wealth of charming Tuscan and Umbria towns, the jewels that bring people to central Italy from far and wide. Once on the motorway at Arezzo (30 minutes away) you can zoom up to Florence in half an hour and mingle with the visitors there who have pilgrimaged to see Michelangelo's of David and the wealth of Renaissance treasure that are housed in this splendid Tuscan City. Perugia, in the other direction, is also a wonder of medieval architecture and history - 40 minutes by car.
The Tobacco Tower is situated 15 minutes from a choice of two old market towns; one in Tuscany; Sansepolcro and the other in Umbria; Città di Castello both with weekly markets where you can have a beer or a Campari in the piazza whilst sorting over your morning finds.
Everyone who has stayed at the villa is bowled over with its charm and beauty, often saying the photos don't give it justice. Great attention to detail has been paid to everything inside and outside this wonderful house. No-one is ever disappointed!
