The River House is located in the GPS coordinates: N 38 ° 58,843 'and W 9th 07,182'

The house has 4 rooms - 2 bedrooms (one with double bed and another bedroom with double bed and a single bed), living room and open plan kitchen and huge wooden beams on the ceiling, two bathrooms and two playgrounds (one front and one rear). It has about 2000m2 of land and a garden area and grass.

There is a garage as well. There are no neighbors or others houses.

There are dogs and cats who came into and out of the house freely. They are all kind and friendly.

In front of the house there is a small river and the place is an habitat of many wild animals: knights, ferrets, foxes, wild ducks, deers, eagles, hawks and falcons, partridges, frogs and toads, and dozens of species of birds such as thrushes, finches, goldfinches, warblers, owls, woodpeckers, owls and cucus.

The area is a nature, rural, wine and ecological reserve. There are no roads, only a path. The house is located in a valley surrounded by mountains. This is a wine region. The hills, vineyards of floods, provide a fantastic landscape and are a balm for the look. There are many trails for long walks. The Arruda village is 6 km away, and the place of Louriceira is 2 km away. The city of Alverca is about 16 km. In Alverca there is a train to the center of Lisbon, in 20m. By car from home to the airport are about 30m.

There is a computer with Internet and there is a wireless connection.

This house has a tranquil setting in the field, to rest, enjoy nature, and when you want, sightseeing near Lisbon, as Cascais, Sintra, Obidos, etc.

People can cook as they wish. There is a restaurant close by (can walk there) with real traditional Portuguese home made cooking.

The owner lives in a part of the house and if customers want, will always be around to provide help.

House rules

This rural property is located in Natural and Winery Reserve in the west of Lisbon area.
It is perfect for those who like to rest in the countryside, in a secluded place, surrounded by nature and wildlife. No other houses and there is a small stream there. The grass area is very wide. There is a terrace for dining and a barbeque. The house is rented in its entirety (except the library where sleeps the owner). She does daily cleaning, beds etc.
