Description
Fantastic villa with private swiming pool and tennis court.
Quiet location, near Coimbra (Old university) and close to the Roman city of Conímbriga (2nd century). It offers several on-site activities (swimming, tennis, billiards, etc.), and possible paths in the pine forests that surround it. Great views over the hills. Lots of light throughout the day. Possibility of catering at home (menu available with typical Portuguese dishes).
In Coimbra (12KM) children have to visit the famous "Portugal dos Pequenitos".
Cottage in a small village surrouded by pine trees and small hills. Near the roman ruines of Conimbriga (2nd cent.). The old university of Coimbra is just 15 min far (by car), and the beach of Figueira da Foz (with Casino) is not far (40 km in motor road, near the house).

“just perfect”
It's a perfect location. 3 beautiful bedroom with own bathrooms gives each one a lot of privacy. Stunning pool area with terrace, tennis court and a pool billiard assures that's never getting boring. The landlord is very supportive. I can really recommend it!!!

“Outstanding family holiday home”
My family of four (two children 15 and 10) stayed in this excellent house during July, situated in a quiet spot it is only a short 5 minute drive to Condeixa (good local amenities) and an easy drive into the historical city of Coimbra. The owners (Jose & Ana) looked after us like extended family from greeting us on arrival to our sad departure. The house has everything inside and outside to make you feel at home. Our families favourite pastimes included lounging in the shaded terrace, playing in the pool, a bit more lounging then BBQ for lunch. The house lends itself for guests to be as busy (numerous tourist sites to visit we included Porto) or to get away from it all (spent many days enjoying the sun and pottering around). The house and owners have made our visit to Portugal one of the best holidays we have experienced as a family. Briosa modo de vida.
