On the rock of Orvieto in a quiet alley protected from worn Tuff and surrounded by greenery is the jasmine of Isia.
The House is situated in the heart of town, in a quiet, traffic-free, but at the same time at two steps from the vitality of the main street, where you can find shops, bars, wine bars, banks, pharmacies and everything you may need during your stay.
Walking through the streets of Orvieto, that "stone that rises to heaven", you can enjoy the numerous and important testimonies that Cliff, the protagonist of a glorious past, political and religious view with pride.
In this privileged context fit, throughout the year, various historical events-religious, cultural, musical and gastronomic: among the best known PALOMBELLA and CORPUS CHRISTI May/June, ORVIETO CON GUSTO September/October, UMBRIA JAZZ WINTER Christmas/new year period, time trial of CASTELLANA may, UMBRIA FOLK FESTIVAL in August.
Orvieto, thanks to its geographical position, allows to quickly reach the cities of Perugia, Assisi, Siena, Todi, Viterbo, Bolsena Lake, Marmore waterfalls.
In addition, favoured by the presence of the A1 motorway and the train station (Rome-Florence line) allows over up to two hours to reach Arezzo, Rome and Florence.

“There is no better hospitality to be had in Orvieto than at this superb apartment!”
We has a wonderful time in Orvieto staying in Daniela's beautiful apartment. Daniela and her family are exceedingly friendly and generous with their hospitality; they provided us with a fridge full of food and drink on our arrival, including some refreshing melon which was very welcome after a hot journey, and a delicious homemade apricot cake. Over the fortnight, we were lavished with more gifts, including homemade jams and biscuits. One evening, after we'd had a long day of sightseeing in Assisi, Daniela turned up with a homemade pizza just as we were trying to muster up the energy to cook a meal - very welcome indeed! As for the apartment - well it is absolutely beautiful, with marble floors and antique furniture and a glorious view of the cathedral from the balcony. It is in a central position and all the major sights in Orvieto are within walking distance. Everything in the apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable and, as Daniela and her family are in the house next door, all our queries were swiftly dealt with and they were on hand to provide information on all the local sights, shops, entertainments and restaurants. We were also delighted to have seen Daniela performing in a 1950s extravaganza in the Piazza del Popolo and it was lovely to hear her singing! Although the apartment is so near the centre, it is on a narrow lane and is very quiet. We loved our stay there and would not hesitate to recommend it!
