Description
A stunning high quality barn conversion featuring solid oak floors throughout, open plan ground floor living, and all modern facilities, including broadband. The master bedroom features en-suite shower room, French windows and electric Velux windows. It is an ideal base to visit beaches and the tourist sites of rural Normandy. The ground floor has a kitchen/diner at one end seating upto 6-8 and the lounge at the other with sofas for upto 6 adults. Fully equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, TV (satellite for British channels), DVD, broadband and all you would expect of a new conversion. There is a rear patio for morning sun, while the front patio catches the evening sun. Use the scenic heated open air swimming pool in Mortain 15 minutes drive away, or make for the Normandy coast in about 45 minutes for a half or full day by the sea. The barn is 1 hour from the port of Caen and 2 hours from Le Havre

“Lovely holiday home in Normandy”
Ideal base for a family holiday. Lovely house with spacious garden for kids/dogs to run around in. We have just spent two weeks here and found lots to do in the surrounding area. There are lovely walks, lakes, several swimming pools and beaches all within an hours drive or less, as well as lots of historic towns to visit. You can also get the train from Vire (20 min drive) to Paris for a spot of sightseeing. The house has everything you need and is in a really peaceful village, so we also spent time relaxing in the garden. We managed to lock ourselves out within ten minutes of arriving, but there was someone on hand to help soon after, who also had lots of local knowledge (thanks Martin). A great holiday, thank you.
