“Location ... location”

Gordes is a lovely place to base yourself for a week or two as we did. This location is a perfect 10 minute walk from the heart of the village. Close enough for everything you need or want but far enough out to be peaceful. The house itself is fabulous despite the bedrooms being not he small side. It is well equipped and the best feature is the private courtyard/garden to relax and have meals. The pool is also a highlight but busy at this time of the year. We found we could have it to ourselves early-ish in the morning but the afternoons were for families and children. The location makes a fantastic base and two weeks meant we could explore, walk and bike ride so many of the picturesque local villages, mountains, gorges and valleys. We covered from Mont Ventoux in the north to Lourmarin in the south. Our only complaint was with the shared laundry which is limited to two machines when fully operational. Sadly for our visit only one was operating and at times none. This needs to be addressed.

Unfortunately, we got problem with the shared common laundry for several days during your holiday... some people have broken the door of the Machine. We really enjoyed staying here. The house was on the small side, but had everything we needed, and the pool was lovely. It's a short work to Gordes, which is a beautiful village.
