Description

Welcome to Dragonfly Barn – our self-catering holiday accommodation in Norfolk for two adults and your dogs. 'A Peaceful retreat in the North Norfolk Countryside and only a few minutes from the beautiful sandy beaches at Mundesley. The detached barn consists of one large open plan room (with lounge area, dining table and chairs, and a kitchen) a separate bedroom and ensuite shower room and toilet. If you are bringing your canine friends, or if you simply enjoy walking there are lots of lovely walking paths in this area to keep you interested. The barn has its own fenced private garden, with views out over the countryside from the barn and the garden.The barn is 25 minutes walk from the clean sandy beaches at Mundesley, with lovely walks all around, pubs and restaurants, and plentiful shopping facilities. (We are on a road with no pavement, so if you do want to walk into Mundesley, for the first couple of hundred yards will be walking on a road with no pavement that can be quite busy at times.) A 15 minute walk down a quiet lane at the side of the property will take you to the pretty village of Trunch which has a shop/post office and The Crown, a pub having 3 to 4 guest beers and bar snacks.Norwich and the Norfolk Broads are just 30 minutes away by car. Alternatively you could drive up the coast to our many picturesque towns and villages, such as Cromer, Sheringham and Wells. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust reserve at Cley is a must for birdwatchers. Dogs are not allowed on the reserve but are permitted on the footpaths around the reserve and of course on the beach.

“Relax and enjoy.”

Lovely little barn with a fantastic log burner. Nice enclosed garden for our little dog. Hosts were very nice too. All in all a lovely relaxing stay.

“Dragonfly Cottage”

We had a great stay and was fairly lucky with weather. The cottage was small, but ideal for two adults and two dogs. The secure garden is an added bonus and the couple that own the cottage are very friendly and helpful. We’re definitely going to book again.
