Description

An old farmworker's cottage recently refurbished in a rustic style but with modern amenities. It is located in its own garden with an ample area in front for outdoor dining. The kitchen retains original features, including a stone sink but also includes a gas cooker and refrigerator. The handmade oak table easily seats eight. The second room downstairs can function as a extra bedroom as it has a sofa bed which opens to make a comfortable double bed. The bathroom is off this room and there is also a small utilities room also. Upstairs there is a spacious room with a kingsize bed and a single bed is also available here if required. The property is part of a larger group of farm buildings which now sits among huge fruit trees and well-loved flower gardens. At the bottom of the garden is the Gardonnette stream, shrouded in mature poplars and oaks; a rambler's paradise.

Getting around

It is possible to travel around using bikes which we have available for no extra charge and then use the local train service which runs about every 45 minutes on an irregular service during the day. It is of course much more convenient however if you are able to have the use of a vehicle as that allows you to visit some of the world heritage sites which are about an hour or an hour and half from the house.

We live on the property in the original old stone farmhouse so are on hand to help out should you need anything.
