Description
This recently built villa is located in the Spanish village of Isla Plana. In the high season it gets very lively, but still retains the advantage of not being overcrowded. Although a small village Isla Plana is very well served with - a supermarket, ATM, tobacconist, fishmonger, kiosk, hardware store, veterinarian and a bakery, bank, small clinic, pharmacy as well as cafes and restaurants. All these amenities and the nearest beach are between 8 and 15 minutes' walking distance from the villa. Further longer and sandy beaches are less than a 10-minute drive in Puerto Mazarron.
The villa has 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms on the ground floor (one of them ensuite) and on the first floor a self-contained apartment with a double bedroom. Outdoors you will find the south-east-facing garden, the private pool with an outdoor shower and toilet, and a BBQ. Regardless of the weather, the covered terrace offers the possibility to stay or dine outdoors at any time. The parking lots with remote-controlled electric gate is located on the property. From the terrace and the solarium (on the roof) the villa offers a magnificent view of the sea and the mountains. The location of the garden with pool offers plenty of sun for most of the day. If it gets too sunny, you could retreat to the adjacent shaded terrace, which is equipped with remote-controlled ceiling fans. The walled solarium provides privacy while sunbathing or simply relaxing with panoramic views of the sea and mountains. The evenings on the solarium are particularly pleasant, as from there the illuminated, glittering coast of the neighbouring village of La Azohia can be seen wonderfully.
The living/dining areas and all bedrooms have individually controlled air conditioning systems. The villa is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and modern electrical appliances - 3x TVs (including 2 smart TVs) with British, German, Spanish and other international programs), a DVD player & HiFi. Furthermore, a well-equipped kitchen with appliances such as fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, ceramic stove, oven, microwave, electric mixer, baking utensils, etc.

“Fantastic!”
We stayed at this beautiful Villa for 2 weeks in August 2016. The Villa is in a fantastic location and is immaculately presented. It had everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. Heidi the owner has thought of everything! lsla Plana and the surrounding area has lots to see and do. There are blue flag beaches along the coast with some great places to snorkel. The Villa has a wonderful pool and we spent most of our time swimming, sunbathing and relaxing. There is a fabulous BBQ at the Villa which we cooked on most evenings and later we walked to the local social community centre for a drink (very reasonably priced!) or the beach bar which is a 5 minute walk away. There is a local supermarket in Isla Plana where you can buy everything you need but the larger supermarkets are only a 10 minute drive away. We hired a car for the two weeks which gave us the freedom to visit some great places including Cartagena where we saw the amazing Roman Ampitheatre and baths. Cartagena is great for shopping and has lots of places to eat. Mazzaron is only a 10 minute drive away and has a great beach. There are also lots of places to eat and drink and it has a good selection of shops. We have stayed in a number of Villa's over the years and this is one of the best. We will definitely be returning very soon!
