The Dugongo is situated on the magnificent Penisula of Machangulo, Mozambique. Enter into a magical world with pristine beaches, opulent wildlife and amazing architecture. While doing all of this, enjoy the luxurious pleasures the Dugongo has to offer.
Our friendly staff will satisfy all your needs so you can lay back and relax.
The House has 6 Bedrooms which can easily accommodate up to 12 People. There are three bedrooms in the main House and 3 bedrooms in the two Bungalows on top of the dunes. Two living rooms are located in the main house. The dining room is located next to the patio where food will be served. The inside patio is the perfect chill out area and melting point for all guests. For the sunset you will find a platform on top of the dunes where you can enjoy drinks and a beautiful view over the peninsula. The pool is overlooking the stunning ocean coast line.
Dive into the Flora Fauna and Habitat of Machangulo. The Elephant Reserve in the south is a 30 minutes drive from the house and inhabits the only black elephant population in the world. You will also see giraffes, zebras, monkeys, turtles, whales, crocodiles and huge Hippos. Experience what the Island has to offer. From deep see fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, skydiving and for those who like it slow, gently glide through the beautiful Bay of Maputo on a traditional Dhow.
