Description
In our apartment we hear seagulls, we see the São Bento train station, feel the happiness of lovers on the Rua das Flores, heard the flash of cameras, it's so nice to go to the window and see the view. We have the luxury of a new house, decorated with the dedication of those who like to feel comfort and quality of life in the historic city center. When we left the door see happy people, the people of Porto are the happiest city dwellers in Europe, and we see tourists dazzled with everything the area has to offer. We love living here. When we are not here we rented our apartment for holidays.
Due to its important role in the history of Porto, Rua das Flores has more visitors during the day than local people. It is a place not to be missed. Why not stay here for a few days instead of passing?
This apartment is carefully decorated on quality, modernity and good taste. This part of town are typical Portuguese food restaurants, traditional shops, cafes and the center of nightlife with bars and clubs, yet is in a peaceful and quiet place.
The condo Passeio das Cardosas was completely rebuilt for 1 year and had to keep the original architecture by imposition of Portugal culture department retaining its beautiful Portuguese style.
Praça das Cardosas has 24 hour security and its interior is closed from 19h only being allowed to enter the residents.
We provide private parking upon request at an additional cost. (20,00€ /per day)
Next to the apartment there are supermarkets, grocery stores, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, bars, museums and taxi stops.
Situated in the heart of the historic area of Porto, all important monuments can be visited on foot. For example, the Torre dos Clérigos, Lello Library, Palácio da Bolsa, Mercado Ferreira Borges, Praça da Ribeira, Aliados and Rua Santa Catarina are just 5 minutes way.
You can also visit the cellars of Porto wine and the Cais de Gaia simply crossing the bridge D. Luís and has the ability to make a river cruise.
Nearby you can rent bicycles, program a guided tour and take the train to the beach in a beautiful and relaxing trip along the Douro river.
